@jimspalmsuk5098 can't go wrong two for £30 lol think they're in 15cm pots so see how it goes 🤞either way one's going straight into the ground, going to modify the soil with John innes no:3 & some grit tho as clay soil
Looks great Jim 😊 I want get my cannas and bananas out the greenhouse and in the ground, but still can’t trust the weather here in north wales yet lol few was hopfuly
The tulips are flaming parrot, the smaller cycas was from morrisons 2 years ago and been out all winter. The larger potted one I've had for 4 years from a small plant. Kept in a unheated greenhouse over winter 👍
Love the tour Jim. Palmage everywhere which is right up my street. I've always enjoyed and agreed with your attitude of giving things a go, whether they thrive or die, something is always learnt. Without experimentation and uncertainty there's less fun to be had. The place looks great 👍
Garden looks great Jim!! 🌴 Have you tried palmbooser for your transplanted Trachycarpus? I've had brilliant results from it.
No, I haven't tried that one. I've been using seaweed and palm focus. Should start growing soon 🤞
Looks good Jim, what is the groundcover plant by the Emerald Star?
Couldn't tell you, I have no idea. I saw it in the woods near me, and loved the silver leaves. I think it is invasive, bit I like it 👍
Is that a chameorops volcano I spy next to the Butia? Just ordered 2 of these from Thompson & Morgan this morning 👌 looking good Jim
Yes, definitely the hardiest of all the chamaerops and a very different look 👍
@@stevea3200 They are my favourite chamaerops, just don't have the space for more.

I'd go for it, weather looks good and we're practically in may. Shouldn't get anything damaging now🤞
Fantastic! Whats the big leaved Rhododenron called?
It's the one I can't pronounce, rhododendron suoilenhense. 👍
@@jimspalmsuk5098 awesome 👌
Like your vids, and I am suscribed...but it only plays in 360p
I do record in HD, sometimes it's UA-cam you may have to wait an hour or so after the video is uploaded 👍
What tulips are those? They go great with tropical theme. Do you know their name? And where did you buy your cycas revolutas? They look very healthy 👍

Cheers Jim 👍
How old is that cordyline @18.00? Very impressive specimen!!!!
They are around 15 years old and approximately 18 foot. They grow fast maybe 2 foot a year when there happy 👍
@@jimspalmsuk5098 Wowser! That's quicker than I thought. Looks lovely there; very eye-catching!
Do I spot an Acanthus mollis at 12:21 on the right side of your hand? That will give the Fatsia a run for it's money in a few months!
Yes and yes 👍
It certainly will. We have it in our garden and it outgrows all the other plants around it.

Cheers, love pushing the boundaries 👍
