I remember this course being my favorite from all of your videos from your trip to the UAE. Didn't know this was ranked 44 in the Golf Digest's world top 100 - that's impressive. Dang it now I'm jealous all over again!
There is a membership there (about US$15000 I believe) but equally they welcome visitors as it is a Troon managed facilty, like many across the region and in the US
Ok sold...I’m going to play it ....would it be worth doing a ‘value for money’ and an overall average cost to play the courses on each trip. I know people have asked me in the past about costs and whether there was any useful points of contact to get deals for the places I visited...just a thought🤷🏼♂️
I like the idea of a value, but I tried to steer away from the cost aspect being part of the rating, partially because there are always deals to be had and that could skew the results away from the better courses being on top. Fair to say none of the courses in Dubai are what anyone would consider cheap, but when you consider that almost always includes range balls and use of the practice facilities, gyms, pools, saunas/spas etc for the day of your booking it becomes much easier on the wallet.
Courses vary in cost quite a bit, and we got some good deals but they are around £100-150. We played 7 on this trip and 5 the year before, and I could still fill a week of the ones I haven’t played
