- Yas Links may be the best links golf club in the UAE, and the front 9 in part 1 will show you why...
I absolutely loved my round here, the undulating fairways and greens test every element of your game, most of the course borders water in some way and the bunkers are treacherous places. But despite all these challenges, and average weather, this course left an impression of me that I'll never forget. So much so I am willing to call it...THIS IS NOW MY FAVOURITE GOLF COURSE! This place felt like part of Scotland was transplanted to the middle east!
Yas Links Abu Dhabi, a first in the Middle East - where noble heritage combines with impressive surroundings to enrich both your game and your senses in a truly unique environment. The Kyle Phillips designed course ranks #44 in the top 100 golf courses in the world and combines visual glory with the thrill of golf’s ultimate test.
The 18 hole course presents the kind of challenges that golfers from all over the world dream about whilst the 9 hole par 3 course and practice facilities are the perfect fit for all abilities. The clubhouse is set alongside the water’s edge, against dramatic views of the Arabian Gulf which provides the perfect setting for dinning and events.

Great putt on the first from Corinne!
And despite her protests I had to leave it in the edit! Was such a pleasure to play with this couple, absolute legends!
Sweet play!!
Cheers bro! This place was amazing!
What a pair of shots on #4! Absolutely stunning course. Thanks for sharing
Glad you enjoyed it Gabe, I know I mention it in the video but it was actually struggling for condition according to them! This place stole my heart, pretty much from when I arrived and my only regret is that we had to rush our finish to get to play Abu Dhabi National in the same day. That wasn't really fair on either course...
Fore to Four Golf 😳 can’t imagine how good when in prime condition then. Do they host any tournaments there?
only some middle east tour events...no european tour yet. It's good enough, no question. But it is only 15 minutes from Abu Dhabi National which hosts the HSBC championship and that is a tournament style course loads of room for grandstands and fans. Yas doesnt have that space, but I'm telling you if there was a final pairing going neck and neck through the closing holes there, it would be some captivating viewing!
The quality of golf courses from this trip is just stunning. Which course was your favorite?
this trip, you have just watched it. Incredible layout, friendly staff, amazing views, tough testing holes. I could play here every day...no question. But I would need to be sponsored by a ball manufacturer.
@@ForetoFourGolf Tough to choose, not a bad one in the bunch - hahahahaha
So...if I didn't convince you, where is your favourite course that you have played?
After a lot of thought i'm going to say Burapha A & B. Laem Chabang a very very close second. Marry one and have the other as a mistress.
both in Thailand? I'm hoping to play santiburi samui in april, but Red Mountain in Phuket was epic.
@@ForetoFourGolf Both in Thailand. So I have to go to Thailand to play them. How sad! I'm still hoping I can do 24 days at the end of the year. I will be crushed if I can't.
you'll get there mate, we addicts always find a way...
@@ForetoFourGolf I'll get there even if I have to sell one of the kids!
