- By far the easiest and probably my least favorite. Still has some cool attacks though. If you wait for him to attack at the end of his DM you can reveal the right card every time. Level 53 Critical Mode.

@Emeran Slane KH3 Story-wise, the Nameless Star Sora met in The Final World told him the name. On the other hand, Luxord's somebody may have told Yozora to "save Sora". The card Sora received from Luxord may be like some sort of a tracker for Yozora to find Sora which is why they are able to meet.

@@BenSS3 I have a theory that the video game world Yozora is from is actually just data of the future worlds. Just as in Daybreak Town all the future worlds were comprised as data to begin with.
I freaking love Luxord. He isn’t evil, he doesn’t care about Master Xehanort’s plans. He just wants to play card games with Sora.

@@Carnyzzle It's definitely up there. My personal hatred for the Ansem fight (with all pro codes that dm's wonky hitbox makes it pure hell) in particular leads me to rank that one even lower, but yeah - Luxord is way too gimmicky.

at least it didn't decrease your time gauge constantly like in kh2

You can fail the DM and still win the fight too, so pretty much yeah. After he does it he just goes back to his regular rotation so if you have a lot of time left you can just keep going and win anyway.

I cant possibly be the only one who found this to be the most difficult battle in all of kh3
He is the hardest of Data XIII so far for me. I’ve beaten him Terra-nort, Marluxia, Larxene, Siax, and Young Xehanort. Really looking forward to Ansem and Xemnas
To this day, I have not beaten him, all the data battles flt easy compared to his. That desperation attack is so annoying.
How do you find him among the cards when they shuffle on the ground?
@@Chippy247you have to hit the cards that has a circle on them instead of an X. Once you done that The rest of the X cards and Luxord's card will be revealed. Hit his card and you can do a full combo on him. During the time where you are trying to find the circle cards one of the x cards is going to home in on you. Also the X and Luxord's will be facing at Sora while the circle cards will just be stationary. I hope this helps.

if by interesting you mean totally boring. This is quite literally the worst boss gimmick ive seen in the history of boss gimmicks, and is probably just the easiest boss in kingdom hearts period

GGKimTaeyeon The original was easier; it was literally one easy mini game and the DM. He didn’t do it here but the ground shuffle genuinely is tough to beat.

You can block almost everthing in this game
Except for when you can’t and are required to dodge. That’s how Xenia’s got me with his crazy laser attack. Blue lasers are unblockable apparently
@@MrMnM-ed5ht thats the "almost everthing" part, the 2 TINY Blue lasers at the Begining you cant Block, and the Thousand red ones after you can, Just for make you Block at the right moment

I don't understand how you get an opening on him so quickly. For me, he keeps being surrounded by purple no matter how many cards I block/dodge.

This fight was painfully unfun to me. Nothing interesting about it, and it takes so long just to have an attack hit the wrong target and set you far back. Hated this fight
Really helped me with knowing when to punish him, I was only hitting him after winning his games. Thanks a lot.

@@titsbitchmcgee7502 They already did that with Xehanort. Would I be surprised if they did? Not really. Do I think they will? No, he seems like he'll be important for the next mainline game and then be reduced to cameo status afterwards.
The only one who is still a mystery is Demyx then. Luxord's somebody may have told Yozora to save Sora

Xehanort's saga's done, and anything coming from spin-offs of him will probably only serve to either flesh out his character or give us more hints on the Foretellers Saga.

wow, WOW, i have been tryin to fight this guy for over a day and found a solution to "LETS PLAY A GAME SORA"
I wana know why when i use reprisals after he throws cards at me i cant damage him but you can it doesn't make sense and also how come ge never uses his pinball card attack
Seems like such an obvious tactic in the end there, but I was never able to pull it off. I was never able to finish the final stage of his DM without triggering his big attack, so in the end I just beat him by playing every other part of the fight flawlessly and tanking the damage.

This fight is only annoying because you will lock onto the correct card and then the game goes "lol no" and you hit the card next to him.
Every time I try to attack him when hey throws cards heys immortal. Hey instant teleports do how can this guy hit him at those points and I can't.
Also his time bar isn't lowering mine keeps lowering even though I didn't get hit

I hate the camera in this game sometimes, because moving and moving the camera at once is just hard sometimes, especially when you are trying to get an opening :(

This fight is frustrating cause it's easy in concept, but Sora keeps spazzing out and attacks all the cards around the one I want to hit 😅
Ok, this fight became the easiest once I realized how many openings he has before doing any of the card games.

Take your time and play along with him.
When he scuffles the cards, the dud ones will always face you when you run around, while the O cards will stay still.
Once you clear them, all of the dud ones along with Luxord's card will be revealed, attack the latter and you will damage him.

This boss pissed me off greatly 😤 it was really the only one that I really struggled with...I was so relieved when I finally beat him...

I can't figure out for the life of me how to find him in the phase one card shuffle.
@@LolTac0Bell Process of elimination. You have to run around the arena in order to strike the cards with the "0". Once a majority of the card disappear, his card is revealed and you can attack him. Still a very annoying fight.
Would be cool if It had you fight in a chain of memories way.
So you're saying i shouldnt be using the ultimate keyblade? Go with oathkeeper?
All depends the ultima helps with certain fights and the oathkeeper helps with others
Is it bad that I found Luxord harder than Xigbar? He wasn't hard for the right reasons though it was moreso the lockon system in KH3 that was the problem. His attacks are very predictable and easy to guard/dodgeroll. However whenever it came to the card minigame where you have to hit the circle. Even if Sora was locked onto the right card and was holding the right direction he would fling himself into one of the X's removing time, I had to constantly cancel my attacks straight after initating them to stop that bs from occuring.
With Xigbar sure overall hes harder, but the game rewards you for learning the fight and Guarding effectively. Using Showdown at the right times, escaping the purple shots, dodging the blue bullets. Where as with Luxord it always felt like RNG because of the fucked lockon system. One thing I do appreciate however is the fact you don't need to win the DM to beat him in that aspect it improves upon KH2FMs Luxord data fight, but aside from that I prefer the original data fight.

Dude! I am so happy I’m not the only one in the world that compared that to this.
No matter what I do every time I hit or flip the last Luxord card on his DM he just goes “I always win!” And blows me up in a cutscene, really stupid move and feels incredibly unfair. I do what he wants and he ‘wins’ anyway.
I didn't even know he was vulnerable during half these attacks I just beat him... As in intended... *shudders* I need to parry less take risks more often.

got this fight on my 3rd attempt the only difficult part for me like kh2 was his DM
I have a big problem with this fight, namely you completely missed the point in the first half where he puts up cards all over the place and there is no way to tell which is the right card to hit in time.

I apologize for coming off as brusk with that, but I've faced him a number of times now and cannot ever do jack crap to him. Im only watching this vid to try and figure out how to get passed his completely and utterly ill conceived mechanics that should have never gotten approval.

Chunky Monkey it isn’t a hard dm at all from what I’ve seen from other players (haven’t had a chance to get REmind yet), he just moves fast as hell and switches his style up after a while during his dm phase
His DM is bugged on my end, I swear to god...He just keeps yelling at me to pick a card but all of them are X cards and the rest just never flip over, ever.
I have no choice but to wait out the timer till I just die and it's pretty frustrating, considering I've beaten literally every other data boss accessible at the moment.
