A great trend I've seen on the internet that brings back life to consoles to their former glory. TikTok: / toplel eBay: www.ebay.co.uk/usr/planet-unk...
Do Not Reflow! 01xx or E74 Errors are Flip chip failures, not BGA! GPU chip needs replacement. Only reason they work is because the GPU warps with heat and the connections inside the chip get pushed back and it only works for a bit of time. Documentaries are on YT by the Xbox account and RIP-Felix. But I've enjoyed watching you go through all of those! By the way you've mistaken a few Xenons as Opus, Opus has the Falcon power port and no HDMI
It’s odd seeing these types of videos, for 10 years I did 360 repairs from dvd drives to jtag/rgh and reballs, xkey installs etc but In 2024 I won’t even touch them anymore.
Towel trick the red ringed ones and see if they have blades. If so, they are worth getting a new GPU. I’ve saved many blades consoles doing this. I have 7 blades consoles currently in my collection (had more but sold them.) Also the 7371 dash is the LAST Jtaggable dash, that’s worth money right there
for all the consoles that have gpu errors, even if a reflow does revive them while you have them, don't sell them. reflows aren't reliable fixes and are simply only temporary no matter how good you do it, even if it is cracked solder balls, it could have oxidised pads and allsorts stopping that from staying working, always reball, and at that point, its not worth the time, unless its on old firmware ofc.
unless I'm mistaken... this was a recent listing on good old ebay. skipped as (a) there's no real money in x360 consoles and likely won't be for easily 10+ years, (b) by the time these may start to become valuable, they will have singificantly degraded, and (c) half were missing front and side facias.
Jaspers are tanks, to this day I haven't seen one red ring in person and have been able to completely fix everyone I've purchased including one I got Free because the owner took a baseball bat to get the disc tray open.
ok TAKE YOUR TIME / we had problems with motherboards and GPU chip subtrate warping and damage / focus on the drive and other error units first thermal compound and ram heatsink On bothsides of mobo / REDRING E-74 and other errors GPU cpu southbridge
dont reflow they work but will almost 100% fail again, so its effectively a scam. also use xenonlibrary when looking for the cause of the error code and your supposed to hold the sync and press eject to get the code. other than that very enjoyable video
@@topplel of corse, but at the end of they day they r gonna die sooner rather than later. if you were to sell them id personally say that they are reflowed
Falcons are evil consoles. Even if they are working on the dash, they are freezing in some games if the GPU/CPU goes faulty. So you cant say that they are working if they boot up. Jaspers on the other Side are rock solid and the only problem thy can develop, is a not working disc drive. Would always buy an jasper, never a slim or something before the jaspers. Personally i have a jasper and as second 360, a Elite Fat 360 with a manufacturing date from 2011. That is still unbelievable to me, because in 2011 microsoft had long stopped the fat production. But it stands in front of me. A fat 360 with a 2011 manufacturing sticker.
As long as the console has fixed GPU underfill, the motheroard doesn't matter at all. Falcons after Q2 2008 came with them, and almost all MS referbs of Xenons/Zephyr/Falcon had fixed GPUs due to the GPU being the failure being the only common fault.

Thanks Seth, looks like we got a mission trying to save all the blades dash consoles. It's a good lil hobby & profit too
That orange one at the start is the most yellowed console I have ever seen

Welcome back after 8 years.
where do you live i think i saw this on facebook marketplace lol
Jaspers have 3 different nand sizes. 16MB, 256MB, and 512MB. Which is why you saw some storage on there.
Interesting. My Jasper has no internal storage.
Then you have the 16MB version. Only the 256MB and 512MB will show to have some internal storage.
@@legendofcho ahh ok.
Every console is 16mb nand with the exception of the Jasper SB and BB and Slim (E) 4gb nand console
where do you usually buy your consoles from? I tried ebay but I cant stand their shipping prices

Might be worth it to check if it's an old dashboard as other collectors might want it
