The tree becomes extremely stressed, and ends up needing therapy from the squirrel psychologist. In the end, the tree realizes its self worth and then it happens again next year. Vicious cycle ☹️

This is just new to me. Why they do that?
after a month, the antlers dry, and fall off, then, on the next year they grow again, all the cicle over again
When the growing process is done for the antlers the velvet dries up and itches do they strip it off

Eriya Ikejiri it’s probably like when you get a really strong itch and you scratch a little too over zealously until it becomes a bit painful/uncomfortable and then they wait and repeat process when they get itchy again lol

The layer of skin brings blood to the growing bone. When the growing process is finished the skin /velvet dries up and itches so they rub it off
