Wow. That end game was insane, especially for Ali with 4 seconds on the clock For those wondering why he resigned: Ali moved his king to the left of the board to trap the moving pawn. When Nepo moved the pawn on the right side of the board, Ali had to choose. Most likely the right one would turn to a queen because his bishop is on black and the pawn's end lane is a white, never getting a chance to actually kill if Nepo reaches except with his king, which needed many moves. If he did move to the right, the left would move forward easily. If Ali had stopped both movements, Nepo had freedom to move his king to kill blocking pawns. I give props to Ali for staying in the game processing immediately where to go. What a fortitude of defense. Great game overall.
Firouzja could have easily taken the game away from nepo by taking the Knight with his bishop @8.40,the only way to stop the mate is sacrificing the nepo's queen, Don't you think??
C'est possible mais Neponiachtchivitushliniashtchi avait le véhicule prioritaire et en cas de crevaison sans essence, l'as du volant est supérieur au fou blanc (ou quelque chose dans ce genre)...
Firouzja it's a unbelievable player, but his reasoning it's not even close to the Magnus. He thinks as a human, Magnus thinking it's almost like a computer and he is the programmer.
Guys, please hit the like button if you found is video enjoyable! Thanks!

Loved Ian's expression after... Qe5. Had to back it up to see it again. Great game. Great video. Thanks!

8:42,
In 2 moves with the queen Alireza can easily Checkmate from here!
Which Nepo immediately blocked this Checkmate with the knight!
Thanks for info man
Ян красавчик, жги на кандидатах ))
ян was in a rush to get away the end of the game. A plane to catch, perhaps?
Bravo Ian
well done nepo
Крутая партия 👍🏻
Ян, судя по мимике, офигевал от половины ходов своего соперника:)))
Wtf where is the rest of the video ?
💜 VIVA PERSIAN GENIUS ❤
💞 MR. ALIREZA 💕
1:10 1:53 Nepo is not exactly polite, but very entertaining for the crowd
1:53 pretty natural reaction :-))
Are you here to judge their politeness or to watch the fucking game ?
lol i see your point, but truth be told Nepo is very within the limits of chess burns and "cold, poker face" attitudes.
bravo, Ян, Doctor Evil!
Nice game
Nepo was really angry, 🤔🤔or needed to go urgently to the bathroom 🚽🚽😂😂
El ruso está bien cagado.
A veces llora cuando se pierde; se enoja cuando gana y otras veces hasta se pone triste.
брво Ян!
1:54 🤣🤣

Nope. There was Qe8+ followed by Qe7+,then Qd6+ and you can capture back B:e2 and there will be an extra defense on d1.
No castling??. Alireza must think he is greater than Carlsen..lol
7:07
No more elekticity???????
I haven't watched this yet but I'll take Firouzja against anyone. He'll surpass Carlsen pretty soon

Javier Muñoz Then why would Alpha Zero beat Carlsen 10/10? I think Firouzja will overtake Magnus
@@rickrick5041 well eventually computers maybe crash Little bit but wait for the new actualization... Just wait for it.
his surpusser is not big enough as yet
Rick rick haha stfu
He lost but I still think he'll pass Carlsen pretty soon

Wow. That was the ugliest game I've ever seen Alireza play.
