How to repair cork handle damage on vintage fishing rods

How to repair damage to a cork handle on a vintage fishing rod (Spiegel Brooklure rod).
The epoxy I used is called "PaleoSculp" in the "Hell Creek Brown" color: paleobond.com/...
However, any two-part epoxy that you knead together like clay will work fine. This can be found at any hardware store and is commonly ised for metal boat repairs, etc.

Good Video. I've never tried alcohol on the cork. I usually use putty wood filler, but what you used is better for large repairs.
