God, please bless this young man's UA-cam channel and business. He is a great guy who actually cares about his students. And has great beats and fills. Thank you, Father. Thanks C.J. love you maaaannnnn😊
I have had a few drum sets. All of them years apart from one another due to, well... life. I finally have built an extraordinarily large Roland kit. I have time to play every day and the more and more I listen to people like you, the better I keep getting. Even if I do not go sit down and practice exactly what you are teaching, eventually the ideas all synergistically ($5) comes together. Much of my lessons were in Dr's office waiting rooms because the acoustics were always awesome for double bass providing I had the proper souls. "Will you stop tapping please?" I have learned the importance of building a stedfast paradiddle. Thank you and Aloha
Nice, bud!! As long as you find my content helpful, I'm happy to provide it! And huge thanks for your support. It means a lot for the progress of my channel :D 🙌
😁😁😁😁 I've actually done this so many times when I play drums in my band . We've written at least seven songs and I've even wrote drums for my guy friend who also plays drums too.
Playing creatively and doing beats + fills in a unique way is what makes music never stop being fun! Really interesting way to hone in on this creativity for sure. Cheers as always
It's not for the complete beginner, but the more you play - the more you'll find yourself beatboxing something, and as soon as you do - add it to the kit! :D
@@ThatSwedishDrummer I wish I could meet you in-person. You should do a drum roll on the snare with the fingers where you start out soft and get louder. It would sound very cool and make great ASMR.
Yeah, I found myself beatboxing some quite creative beats in public, and then when I sit behind the kit, I just can't come up with anything original that I haven't done before...

I’ve been struggling with coming up with creative beats and kept getting stuck in the basic kick-snare loop, this video really helped 🙏🙏
Happy to help out!
This is actually very good advice for bass players as well, some of the top bassists taught themselves just trying to play what they were mouthing out
That's nice to hear! 😃
