Tehachapi Mountain Trail - Hiking Workout

- On the 25th of September, 2022, as part of my totally awesome adventure in Rosamond, California, my workout was simply to hike the Tehachapi Mountain Trail. I took the video camera along to do some shooting from time to time and this video is the result.
I had an ulterior motive that day. It was about 37 deg. C. down in Rosamond so I wanted to get as high in elevation as possible to cool off. The summit was at about 8000’, so I managed to get down to the high 20’s for temperature. Winning!
Shout-out to Les Stroud who did the ‘Survivorman’ series. Not only did he go into the back-country around the world and survive with very little, but he also filmed himself. Trust me, after doing the shooting for this channel over the past year, I can say that that is quite the accomplishment. Way to go Les!
Hope you enjoy this different sort of workout.
Remember, if there’s madness all around and you don't know what to do...JUST LIFT BRO'!

Also trail slope conception is helped by the trees.
I noticed that in the replay. If you hold the trees vertical, you can see on that aggressive part of the slope that it was at least 30 degrees.

Do you use Fahrenheit as well as Celsius? You cracked me up with your Popp quote. "Winnning" haha
1cal = 4.184 Joules or 1calorie = 0.238 Joules.
I really have no intuition whatsoever for Fahrenheit. Don't use it at home, don't use it while flying.
Correct energy units conversion given at (11:25); but thanks for the confirmation. 😎
Next time you could make 2 videos. One with the entire activity and one with highlights of conversation. This way you get more view time.
Good idea. Thanks!
Are there many water sources in those mountains where you can fill up when backpacking?
None whatsoever. it was a pretty small hike though, so I carried up all the water I needed.
That sounds brutal do you know of any areas of the tehachapi mountains that do have water? @Unchained_Skid
