I hope the rest of the family stays Covid-free. It's really ramped up again! LOVED your readathon. Hope your reading slump dissipates now that you have control over your reading again and get settled in your job.
@@BekahBooksandBujo Yay, for your daughter’s quick recovery and the red team’s victory…and a good fight from the Black team. It was a fun read-a-thon, thank you.
I'm so sorry this past week has been rough. Reading slumps don't help. The read-a-thon you and Chloe hosted helped pull me out of one. 😢 I'm also very sorry you didn't like When We Were Bright and Beautiful. I realize it's not for everyone, but it remains one of the most impactful and memorable books I've read in the past few years. The characters are all flawed and completely human, some with no redeeming qualities. Unfortunately, many of us come from families similar in dynamics minus the riches.😢
Well, thankyou for doing this, even though your week has been rough. I hope your little girl is getting better. For it is hard when a little one gets sick, but having Covid, must been even harder. I read Between Shades of Grey, It was a good read and eye opener of places that were not taught in school. However wasn't fond of her book Salt to the Sea, there was way too many characters to follow, but want to read Fountains of Silence. Your readathon was fun to play, I read 6 books, but for September, I am also in a reading slump. I bought some books on my Kindle of favorite authors, so maybe that will get me out of the slump.
I’m feeling a little burnt out on reading too. I think I’ve been trying to do too many “things” and not just enjoy a book. Currently I’ve been doing one of my comfort reads as a palate cleanser. Lockwood and Co. by Jonathan Stroud. It’s a fun middle grade series about ghost hunters. I’m sorry you are dealing with a sick child! I hope no one else catches it. Take care of yourself and your family. Videos will keep. We will wait until you are ready. :-)
I definitely want to try a Katherine Center book and read the 2nd Coyote Sunrise b/c I loved the first one. I'm sorry to hear about the rough week. Hopefully, It is mild and quick.🙏🧡
Just put up a review of tv show episode kolchach . There books on based on the main character I ordered a collection of them on audio I’ve just not gotten them yet
I'm so sorry that it's been a rough week! I'm praying that everyone feels better soon!
