Good tips, as not anyone can make a pot for plants, its an industry and hobby at the same time. I like the way you demonstrate to make a lovely bonsai pot, its a deco pot as well. Thanks for sharing.
Nice technique compressing the clay before the initial pull helps compact the platelets
and makes for a denser more durable planter..
Excellent video. Thank you!

How are the rectangle, and oval pots made?
And in the distance, a small voice is heard...."Put down the detector and crank out the oval Bonsai pot video". While faint, the voice is heard and the message spread, as the 2.4k subscribers begin to chant....."Oval pot video"...."Oval pot video"...."Oval pot video" Then, almost magically, Robert met the request of his many fans, creating and posting the Oval Pot video. And the viewers saw that it was good.
I can't seem to find your pod mentioned in the video regarding an oval variation
Never did the Oval Pot video. That might be a good Pottery pod to do in the future.

What the bit about the fingernails?
IDK - This little pot might fetch $20 if it were glazed nice.
I enjoyed your video, thanks for that. If you are interested, I just completed a short documentary film about an Australian family of potters. It's now on youtube "Robert Gordon Australia -- Family". You may be interested in their approach to making, and the way they work hand-in-hand with their clients. Lovely family too.
IDK - why? (Because pottery is SOOoooo cool?)
Are you saying I sound like him?
why am i watching this?
