This is super informative and interesting. Hope to see more interviews like this!
Nice post. One way to get a Matt finish is to sand blast the pots. Sunshine Cobb uses this method. It gives her surfaces a nice soft feel.
What a wonderful person
This was very good. Thanks for taking the time to elaborate and explain matt glazes.
Thank you for making the video. Very informative because of the collaboration with Linda and your revise at the end. Very clear and well done script and filming also.
What happens if I heat Matte Glaze 04 on Cone 6?
Over fired
I’m not a potter, but I love this woman and her beautiful home.

Would love more close ups of her work.

Epic!
Linda Bloomfield is awesome! Highly recommend her books, and she was great to talk with in person.
Could you talk about low fire .06 glazes?
Sure, what do you want to know?
@@tinkerandthink how does the chemistry differ from high fire glazes?
the Japanese potters have a thing about crystallization
Whatcha mean?
@@tinkerandthink Check the tenmoku gloriously sparkling cups (that were made in China 800 years ago).
They are National treasure of Japan.
All about Chemicals.❤
