I got one today and I am happy to see someone use it as I was wondering how effective it would be this demo makes me want to enjoy it for many years I hope it will be durable, I just have to keep it away from my daughter-in-law she can destroy granite Lol Think will use pumpkin, chia and hemp seeds mixture
I'm eyeing this off and it looks good. And I hardly ever leave bread to cool - the best part is slicing that beauty while warm and slathering with butter :)
Thank you for this post David... I just bought this Lékué bread form. I can't wait to bake my own bread... Just one question please : How long must I leave the dough to proof the first time? ... (I understand 2nd proofing is 30 minutes) ... Thanks in advance. :-)
What a great question. It started me on my way re baking. I still have it, I use it occasionally but only as I’ve developed to baking directly on steels. So I’ll use this to prove the bread before putting it directly on a baking steel in the oven
@@Food_D I watched a bunch of videos last night, and I think it's a great concept, using other than their recipes... it looks like any 500gm recipe could be baked in it. thanks for the input.
Thank you so much- had this thing for several years not knowing what to use it for
+Anne Kandelsdorff Haha! I got this as an Xmas present and was determined to use it, even tho I was in the same boat as you initially.

+TopazDragon thanks, and yes to cool "slightly" not stone cold. 👍🏻😃
I have made this a few times. Brilliant, thank you!!
Ah thanks Yvonne.
There is a typo in the list of ingredients - It should be 14g Fast action yeast (not sea salt)
+CPDBytes that one has been kept secret for months 😂 good find 👍🏻
@@Food_D 14 g is how may teasoons
Cool bowl/baking container
These are great Kevin, can't recommend enough. To add, if you leave them open you get a circular loaf instead of a longer loaf.
David Hughes where have you found recipes, please?

Hi. In a warm room 2hrs should be fine for bread this size
Can you use metric measurements?
Go to :13 There are the gr/Kg measurements. If that is not metric, What do you mean?
so was this worth buying and do you still use it?

Thirty-five minutes wasn't enough time for this bread to bake thoroughly. Next time, I'll try for 45 minutes.
Thanks Janet. I must admit I was a bit of an amateur back then. I use a baking steel to now. Epic
What on Earth is fast action sea salt?
That my friend Chris, is a typo 😀 but thanks for watching 👍🏻
It's obviously a mistake, it must be yeast Lol
It looks very bad bread... :| for this result, better to buy a bread maker...
