You are a true renaissance man, Frank. There is nothing wrong with keeping it real these days, they will look fine; you are building it for you and that is what matters. Thanks for another tip. It really isn't surprising that you are a drummer...I could make out the Zildjian name on the hi-hat, but I couldn't make out the kit.
Now that is a really good idea and I don't see anything wrong with it. If you're doing a resto mod build you might could win a car show with it because if it goes well with the rest of the interior you might just have a shot and u could do a 2 tone deal if you wanted to by sewing or gluing some color strips to it . I can get all of that sheathing for free cause there's always a ton of that stuff left over at the job that they're going to toss in the dumpster. I might have to make some custom panels for Beans 🤔 now that was a great idea you just passed along. I did a headliner that has the foam/partical board backing and bought the thickest fabric I could find at Walmart and glued it and it looks almost like the factory did it except for a tiny wrinkle I got in it behind the visor😂😅 but long as it's up u will never see it 😊
Appreciate you! Definitely could fancy my idea up from the basics and maybe actually win a show 🤔 But for cheap fix at home I do like the home made door panel ideas... thanks for the input! 😊
It looks fine who needs original it was a 6 cylinder car that’s why I’m doing mine if it was a 340 car I’d do it proper but oh well 60 dollars is better than 600 or whatever they charge
You should see mine but don’t care much I’ll put aluminum you should see my dash pad and dash I’ll swap that out for a used one the pad is so bad lookes like wrinkle dog lol my buddy is into drums he’s got one of them hi end electric ones or whatever they are you play same way
