Im a 27 year old man and sobbing from watching this. I had a very volatile, loveless childhood and never met my grandpa because he was a predator. My mom was a violent schizophrenic and my dad left us when we were little. This felt so intensely healing to watch. Thank you so much for making this video. When you said “very good” and said all the affirmations I had such a visceral reaction. Nobody was ever kind or proud of me when I was a kid, or as an adult really. That was so important to hear.

I just recently lost my grandfather, he was very sick, and he was in a different country, where my parents couldn’t go see him. We videocalled him every day and tried to convince him to eat to improve his health, but it just wasn’t enough, and we lost him in October. I regret not being able to spend more time with him, even though it wasn’t my fault.. but the few memories I did make with him, were of him talking to me about our home country and things he taught me. He was the best grandfather to me, while my other grandfather isn’t in the picture, and doesn’t bother to get to know more about us. His video has reminded me of my grandpa so much, and I cried nearly throughout the entire video.. I wish nothing but the best for this kind man, and that he continues to make more videos 🙏💖

Awwww, man, ugh, I miss my grandpa!! He was THE man in my life and he was so sweet and loving. I saw him every day and when I had a separation and my grandma passed I found myself there every day. I was just happier with grandpa than anyone. So he finally said “kiddo, why don’t you just let go of your house and stay here?” So I did. And we just hung out when I wasn’t at work. I didn’t want a boyfriend, and my friends and other family would just come to us. We had people over every day. Neighbors too. We were the people on the street everyone came to. It was the coziest most loving home I’ve ever had. He passed on Easter 2014. He was 94. I miss him so much. When I was a little girl this man who escaped Poland as a Jewish refugee and fought as a marine in WWII (Solomon islands, Bougainville, Guada Canal, Guam and other pacific theater spots) would take me “bummin” we would go and he’d buy Barbies for us to play with, he’d get me little makeup sets. He spoiled me and this man would absolutely get into my stuff with me. He collected dolls and trolls and stuffed animals. Grandma hated it but he was a dumpster diver and the attic was his playground. The cousins and I adored grandpa land. He collected jewelry and coins, stamps and shiny things. He’d say “I picked up some baubles and tchotchkes for you, go at it kiddos!” I think men should be allowed to like stuff like this, and not be called creeps or whatever. Men can have an inner child too, play is fun, gender and age don’t matter.

Every so often you come across a real treasure on the internet, this is one of those. This warmed my heart in places I didn’t know it was cold! I’m kind of picky about my asmr, I have a carefully curated collection of channels I follow which I consider to be the best because of their uniqueness, care and attention to detail and the authenticity and sincerity I feel from the artists. I was very blessed to have 4 grandpas in my life. 2 of whom I was especially close with. I miss them so much! But it's really nice having these videos to watch. My parents split up when I was very young, so I had step grandpas. Blood or not, I was especially close to them.
Awwww, man, ugh, I miss my grandpa!! He was THE man in my life and he was so sweet and loving. I saw him every day and when I had a separation and my grandma passed I found myself there every day. I was just happier with grandpa than anyone.
So he finally said “kiddo, why don’t you just let go of your house and stay here?” So I did.
And we just hung out when I wasn’t at work. I didn’t want a boyfriend, and my friends and other family would just come to us. We had people over every day.
Neighbors too.
We were the people on the street everyone came to.
It was the coziest most loving home I’ve ever had.
He passed on Easter 2014.
He was 94.
I miss him so much.
When I was a little girl this man who escaped Poland as a Jewish refugee and fought as a marine in WWII (Solomon islands, Bougainville, Guada Canal, Guam and other pacific theater spots) would take me “bummin” we would go and he’d buy Barbies for us to play with, he’d get me little makeup sets. He spoiled me and this man would absolutely get into my stuff with me.
He collected dolls and trolls and stuffed animals. Grandma hated it but he was a dumpster diver and the attic was his playground. The cousins and I adored grandpa land. He collected jewelry and coins, stamps and shiny things.
He’d say “I picked up some baubles and tchotchkes for you, go at it kiddos!”
I think men should be allowed to like stuff like this, and not be called creeps or whatever.
Men can have an inner child too, play is fun, gender and age don’t matter.
