- This week, I have been able to dive deep into a Dakar Rally Legend. This car is new to me but has quickly become one of my favourites. I have tried to walk you through its revolutionary features while keeping it at a bite-sized watchable length.
This week, LensAutos is delighted to bring you the Mitsubishi Pajero Evolution. The car that defined what a road going Dakar car is.

Ahhh its not a subaru but very nice all the same ! and thats a Shogun !!!, were not foreigners ! (thanks to Wukipodio for this) "The Pajero nameplate derives from Leopardus pajeros, the Pampas cat. Mitsubishi marketed the SUV as the Montero in North America, Spain, and Latin America (except for Brazil and Jamaica) due to the term "pajero" being derogatory (meaning "w anker") in Spanish. In the United Kingdom, it was known as the Shogun, named after the Japanese word for "General."
I can say pajero in confidence with this one only because it’s an import :)
