Homemade Chocolate Mousse Birthday Cake
Since we already know how to make chocolate mousse (eggless) and a simple chocolate syrup, it is now time to make and assemble our Chocolate Mousse birthday cake. You can find the links for the Eggless Chocolate Mousse and Chocolate sauce below as well as in the cards at the top of the video. I also added in the cards the link for the Chocolate cake recipe that I used.
Because I didn't have acetate sheets, I had to improvise using a spring form cake tin and cling wrap to assemble the Chocolate Mousse cake. Like I also noted in the video, when I put the chocolate sauce at the bottom of the tin (under the cake layer), it was only because the celebrant requested it. It's not a necessary step and it actually became a problem for me to remove the cling wrap (that's why you would notice that I just left the cling wrap in its place). If you have acetate sheets, it would be better and the same procedure will apply. If you also want chocolate sauce as your first layer, it's best to assemble and serve your chocolate mousse cake in a glass dish or something similar. Hope you enjoy this video! :)
