this jinx intro might be one of the best intros I have ever seen. not a single line of dialog but yet it said so much. into the fire, the animals cannibalizing themselves, everyone gunning for her, vultures waiting to feed of her corpse, then she comes out of the fire, the song.. get these voices out of my head. she wants death but what she gets is redemption crashing into her life. she suffered in the fire, VI come and left, when she killed silco she slayed her demons,. now she is no longer the vulnerable, terrified child in Silco's arms.. shes the savior in the eyes of this kid. this shit is so poetic.
one more thought, everyone in her life, her parents, Vander, VI, Silco, wanted to save the underground. she has no interest in saving anyone, she just wants to watch it burn. the crazy thing is that through her actions, attacking Piltover, stealing HEXTech, the underground has come see her as the only person that has actually fought back and have a real effect. she inadvertently become everything her family strived so hard for. I think Savika really wants the same thing Vander and silco did, and now she sees that Jinx is the prophet she always thought she was fighting for.

My favorite ep of the three (though of course all of them are amazing) So many amazing things in this episode. Side note: Viktor is no longer a S1 spoiler. They've already started rewriting the old League lore people were trying to keep you from being spoiled on. Whatever similarities there may be between League Viktor and Arcane Viktor when this is all over, it's pretty clear they're taking the opportunity in the show to revise (and imo improve) his story.
My read on the negative side of Viktor's new form is that so far he has not shown a single emotion since his change?? He very clinically describes the affection that kept him and Jayce together as if that is something he now understands intellectually but is no longer able to feel, which could potentially lead in some bad directions down the road with making optimally logical choices to reduce suffering but without taking any feelings into account. Especially if what he's doing to "cure" the sick eventually does the same thing to them
Offering Ekko tea was such a smart scene to me. Teas are made of leaves and the only tree growing in Zaum is the one where Ekko lives. Why would they use its leaves to make tea? It's such a representation of the fact that Piltover has so many trees that they can make tea without worry, while Zaum seems to have never tried (or see no reason to make) one.
I didn’t think I’d like that Sevika and Jinx dynamic as much as I did, but that little moment of familiarity in Silco’s office was weirdly nice to see. Although now I am worried, because it seems like Sevika doesn’t know that Jinx killed Silco, in fact it doesn’t seem like that information got out, because Smeech seemed surprised when she told him. Which is interesting. Also that moment with the Sucker song is definitely my favorite scene in this episode, probably of this act, next to the final fight.

Oh wow, thank you so much! I enjoy all the deep conversations surrounding this show, especially diving into its themes and characters, I’m glad y’all aren’t annoyed by my constant yapping 😅💜
Definitely some Jesus/Moses vibes with healing the sick, being driven by a supernatural force looking over him, etc. I wonder if Viktor will truly take advantage of this power or if he will come to spurn it. Seems like the Hexcore might be inside of him and guiding him along under the guise of Sky’s image. It’s only Episode 3 so I’m guessing Viktor’s transformation has only just begun.
I'm worried about Victor, I feel like the Arcane is manipulating him with sky's memory and more people connected to it isn't a good thing, Victor can't even feel like a human anymore
To me Season 2 is shaping upto be what I was hoping for as well for the most part - some minor aspects aside . What bothers me a bit is the pacing. I expected it to happen to an extend - since it became clear S2 would be the final season - that some plot strings would fall to the wayside a bit or get jumped ahead. Victor parting ways with Jayce and to a lesser extend Ekko / Heimerdinger going on their mission feels rushed for example. It might be a matter of taste but for me there is a bit too much going on in terms of action scenes that take space away from the well timed plot development I've got used to and liked in season 1. Still - minor grievances... Btw - you got quite a lot of your predictions spot on - very perceptive 😁 There's even more to go on for people who are a bit deeper into League lore but that's more enhanced in the next episode... Can''t wait for you to drop your E3 reaction to start blabbering about the lore nuggets and post Arcane plot hints Have a great day!
I totally see where you’re coming from! I’ve seen quite a few ppl mention how fast it felt, but I also remember mentioning how they were going to wrap up all these intense storylines with a lot of them ending on cliffhangers last season, not to mention introducing new story! It wasn’t enough to pull me away from the story whatsoever though! I’m curious to see how this wraps up since this is the final season!

@@artxroyalty My final try with a very condensed version of my former reply attempts: I got a gut feeling a good chunk of the Ambessa/Mel story line will get carried into a follow up series to Arcane. The introduction of the Black Rose feels to large and significant to be just a side plot that can be concluded in Act 2 and 3. It's a giant can of worms regarding Noxian lore.
@@artxroyalty I tried to link to a League champion page for anyone interested inwhat the Rose thing is about - that might be the reason for auto deletion... but in a following try I was just "manually" describing how to find more info about the Black Rose and that got deleted as well. It isn't that important after all - so no worries. 🙂👍
We know absolutely nothing about viktor right not, even league players know because he's getting a complete rework in both appearance, abilities and lore based on arcane which is not something you see often, let's say current league viktor has been pretty much decanonized since he only uses technology to achieve his goals, but arcane viktor seems to have ties with both technology and magic, league viktor didn't have magic/arcane abilities at all.
they're not super specific about the time lines, but I wonder if the time between the bombing and Viktor emerging from the hexcore cocoon happens to be, idk, about 3 days? *hmmm.gif*
I think she's just a kid. My understanding of that opening music scene is how a bunch of chembaron goons were grabbing and taking kids. Silco last season used kids in his work places and factories for shimmer and such (as we saw episode 8). With him gone that opened the power vacuum and these gangs are taken kids as basically labor to try and have enough power likely through industrialization like Silco to become leader of the lanes.

Idk why but I feel like it’s going to take a god complex route…my guard is up BUT I’m excited to see where they take him this season 👀
The enforcers didnt go scorched earth cuz cait stopped the council last episode
Arcane Jesus
Apparently so 😅
Oh wow, looks like im not the only one spamming F5 on youtube homepage for Act 1 reactions.
In the words of Ekko himself, "It's not enough to give people what they need to survive; you have to give them what they need to live"
2:49 hehe .. vi ing
See what I did there? 🤭
Look like we will be having a viktor rework and origin in game hahahahah
Ooof how different is he from his LoL counterpart?
I'm worried about Victor, I feel like the Arcane is manipulating him with sky's memory and more people connected to it isn't a good thing, Victor can't even feel like a human anymore
I’m glad I’m not the only one that sees a possible negative outcome…
Btw - you got quite a lot of your predictions spot on - very perceptive 😁
There's even more to go on for people who are a bit deeper into League lore but that's more enhanced in the next episode...
Can''t wait for you to drop your E3 reaction to start blabbering about the lore nuggets and post Arcane plot hints
Have a great day!
I’m curious to see how this wraps up since this is the final season!
for some unknown reason my reply attempts to you are getting deleted - I don't know what's up with that. I swear I didn't use foul language or anything else hated by YT. 😁
@@69quato weird…I haven’t been deleting anything on my end! Maybe hmu in one of my social media dms?
@@artxroyalty My final try with a very condensed version of my former reply attempts:
I got a gut feeling a good chunk of the Ambessa/Mel story line will get carried into a follow up series to Arcane.
SEVIKA MY BELOVED MY WIFE IS HERE ❤
I CAN'T BELIEVE THERE WAS EVER A TIME I DIDN'T LIKE HER
nah whole up do y’all think when Jinx said “i’m going to finish off what’s left of my family.” do y’all think not only she talked about Vi yet since she can’t seem to kill herself she was talking about herself too?? like a double meaning. cause we all know Jinx is full of double meanings 🫠🥺🥺🥺 & in hopes of Vi getting the W?
not episode related but what is the background music in the beginning? It sounds so familiar but i cant remember the title
update: It sounds like that gta5 rp song 'Summer Blues' by Syra
#TeamCait but I know my True main adc will never be covered in Arcane.
👀
The Jesus/Viktor parallel is a bit too heavy-handed for my liking.
That's valid! It stood out almost immediately to me to the point where I was like, "there's no denying this HAS to be what they were trying to portray"
let's see if they improve it as much as Harley 😊
Arcane Jesus
Definitely 😂
