My best friend had a spinster aunt who lived in Hamilton that we would visit back in the late 1960’s for a week at a time. We planned a picnic at Blodgett Canyon. It was summer but we roasted a turkey, stuffing, potatoes and gravy and all the trimmings and packed it up in a cooler and ate it there at a picnic table when her parents came to join us. It was the best place to eat a turkey dinner!
