Thank you for sharing that. As I have mentioned before, I am new to golf and been learning on my own for the last 3 yrs (seasons for me because 6mths out of the year I have snow). Hello MSH! I've watched your videos for some time now and have always enjoyed them but was never subscribed. I finally subscribed today. It's unfortunate some people are just jerks and miserable in general. You know how the saying goes " Hurting people hurt." Props to you for how you handled yourself and the situation. Good luck on your upcoming tournament. Have a blessed day my friend!
Hate when this sort of stuff happens. I had that happen once when I was on the putting green with my kid. I wrote it off pretty quickly, but it left an impression on my child and we talked about it later. Sounds like you handled it well!
I’m truly new to golf and really appreciate your channel. So hearing about this experience will gets me ready for similar situations I may experience. Thanks.
Just found your channel a couple of days ago while looking for golf ball reviews. Really enjoy your content and the personable way you address the camera.
Love your videos. I've played golf for 68 years and still learn from people like you. I'm also a starter at our course. We do sometimes have people like the person you described. Your starter friend summed him up perfectly. He's a jerk.
Thanks for all you do. Love your videos. People like that are just high conflict personalities. Something about them thrives on conflict with other people and they have a constant desire to control others. They often create conflict just to feed that desire.
There's always one isn't there? I am so sorry it happened to you with this jerk. You're a nice guy and would never damage a golf course or do something improper. You've been around the game long enough and work at a local course... Keep on going back and keep on chipping. When I as an asst pro and then teacher at a club, we had one too. One part I forgot to mention is there is another green by the clubhouse that has a no chipping sign, which is why I go to the other green. Thank you so much. The guy was just trying to intimidate me. Thank you for your continued support!
The best thing about your channel is watching good golf without a bunch of cussing and bad attitude thanks for always putting out good content and reviews.
There are just some miserable individuals in this world and they like to try to bring everyone down with them. You handled it perfectly. These people are best defeated by staying calm and refusing to argue with them. Easier said than done sometimes. Hope your match went well.
I'm so sorry you endured such a rude, negative person. You handled the situation perfectly. I wish all golfers had your emotional intelligence. May you have many enjoyable hours of chipping and great golf.
I used to belong to a "country club" in a small town that had a number of members who tried to pretend they were the authorities. Too bad he didn't challenge you to a match so you could have shown him how new to golf you were!😂
I've only been golfing 3 years and have dealt with this but I ain't a golfer and I dealt with like I would somewhere else and once they feel that energy then they change up. I'm trying to be a grown up and chill though. Thanks for sharing
These are the types of people who make 'growing the game' difficult. There are so many who want to get into golf (like me and a billion other people in the last 2-3 years) but the 'stuffiness' of grumpy individuals like the one you encountered can be enough to deter newcomers from ever wanting to step foot on a golf course. On a personal level, I find it's usually best to ignore and move on -- they're not worth it. But it sounds like you handled it best not only for yourself but for any others who may face a similar situation there in the future. Kudos to you!
As an American born dude that has an uncanny resemblance to Pablo Escobar, I can tell you that unfortunately stereotypes and prejudice still exist on some golf courses. Like you said, there are some people in the world that are just jerks. I just it movin and don’t let these types ruin my day.
I was a teacher/coach at a small course in the Bay Area of Ca and I was at one hole practicing putting. Just the one hole, not the entire green. I was doing ladder drills and spoke drills just working on my getting the ball in the hole stroke. This guy comes up to me and says "Hey, you can't monopolize a hole on this putting green." The putting green was empty, there was no one on it but he and I. He had like 6 other holes to put to. I was in a corner of the green trying to stay out of the way. I ignored him and continued putting. He said he was going to get the manager. I told him I was the manager. lol. He didn't have much to say after that. Some people just like to be dicks. Golf is full of them, unfortunately. You did the right thing. 👏
Don’t sweat it. Some people are just that way. Unfortunately some folks are just confrontational and sometimes the older someone gets the more cantankerous they become. I think anyone who’s been around the course enough has had a small issue. Good on you for taking the higher road. Nothing good could come from a full out argument and someone like that will want the last word or action no matter what. Appreciate you and enjoy your content. Cheers from Massachusetts.
Unfortunately there always has to be that one guy. Let it be like water off a ducks back. Life must be hard when they carry around all that hate. Keep on doing what you do
This has been the only golf channel I’ve subscribed to in the last year because of its positive content, I guess nothing last forever 😂I’de rather see you review a Top Flight XL 🤷♂️⛳️
Don’t worry about that dude, unfortunately people like that are lurking around but don’t let him get to you, ignorance isn’t worth validation, tee it up and enjoy brother
I'm not chipping. I'm practicing the lifted putt technique. I would have thought someone with sixty years of golf experience would know that. 🤪 ~ Mistah, it's great that you share your joy, but never let anyone take it from you. Next time just tell 'em "Get Off My Lawn!". I appreciate you and enjoy your content very much.
I played around 100 rounds over the past year and I developed a lot of pet peeves along the way. However, chipping onto a putting green would not bother me enough to be on my top ten list of annoyances, so it certainly wouldn't merit lecturing someone over. Much higher on my list of grievances would be things like slow play, golfers cutting in front of me, local residents hanging out on the fairways, unraked bunkers, etc.
"There are some people in the world that are just jerks" - true story. And there is no amount of effort that will ever fix that. That just who they are. Be well my friend
MSH no worries, you handled with class and dignity !!! I have learned over time to simply ignore folks like that. I am sure he is a most unhappy person, and you almost have to feel sorry for him, as he missed a chance to meet knowledgeable and friendly golfer in you. MSH I would happily putt, chip or play with you anytime anywhere. Your virtual friend from Buffalo NY!
I've never played much outside of about a 75 miles radius from where i live. But, I don't think I've ever been to a course that had a separate practice green for chipping.
It sounds like you're a better chipper than he is and he didn't like it. Keep smiling. People like that can't deal with it. New subscriber here & really enjoying your content.
My friend there is nothing about you that says new to golf, quite the contrary. I believe he just wanted to be hurtful and was hoping he would get to you. Love the channel and best of luck on Saturday.
There's always a couple of idiots at every course that think once they pay they own the place. Kudo's to you, you stayed calmer than I probably would have.
Hey, I'm proud of the way you handle the situation. I've had confrontations like that, and I don't have the calmness you have. So, at one point, I told the guy where he could go, "not a nice place " But keep playing, brother. Idiots like that are everywhere.
Working at a golf course I understand they’re just some problem golfers. 8,9 out of 10 golfers are great and very friendly but you get those few who are entitled jerks. And I don’t understand why? It’s free to be nice to people. Golf is a great game. You’re outside on a beautiful course with a group of your friends playing a challenging game. When I play I don’t think about my problems and just focus on my round. I’m happy to be able to do what I love and I always show that to other people when I am.
Unfortunately that happens in golf. I've been playing forty years at the same higher end muni two blocks from my home and it still happens. I have learned to ignore it but it is still irritating. I was hooked up with a twosome recently that decided to quit after three holes, no explanation just said they were done, and returned to the starter. I asked the starter, a friend of over 20 years, what was their problem and he said simple they are jerks. I finished my round alone. Most people are cool. They just want to play but this game that you and I love has an ugly history of racism and it hasn't gone away completely. Enjoy your videos. Really like my hywood retired my 5 iron.
"This is how the fight got started". Man I have has a hand full of situations like that. I have been carrying pepper spray for just that reason. I remember an old guy that came up to a whole line of golfers on a med sized range. He threatened all of us because he went all the way down the range on the outside of the net and went through a hole in the netting to retrieve some balls. 200yds down the range he looked like he was outside the range and no-one gave it any thought. Who does that?!?!? He was straight up wrong for doing that. However, in his mind we should have all stopped what we were doing. He said nothing to anyone before going out there. Insane in the membrane. You did the right thing SH, and kudos to the starter.
You handled it better than I would. I would have told him to go pound sand at the bunker lol but I'm an old grumpy combat veteran. I don't but up with Karen's from anywhere. Kudos to for your patience 🙌.
Karen's and Ken's on the golf course now. There's no safe place in the world to find your happy place. You handled it perfectly because you didn't let him stop you from doing something you've been doing for 8 years. Great videos!!👍🏽
I'm 74 now and it's an unfortunate fact of life that there are the rare a$$clowns out there that think they have the authority to tell everyone what to do and how to do it. I've been playing about 44 years now and I have only encountered 2. As a rule, anyone who plays golf is a gentleman or gentlewoman and the idea of the game is to play your best while being sociable with the others with whom you're playing. I've had some really enjoyable rounds playing with 3 other strangers on a local public course, and isn't that the idea? To enjoy one's self and the others with whom you're playing? You, sir, are a true gentleman and a credit to the game. You handled a distasteful situation in a calm and gentlemanly manner and I would consider it an honor should I ever be paired with you for 18 holes. Best wishes and hit 'em well.
Dude was jealous of your skills. Misery loves company, and he wanted to drag you down in the mire of misery where he dwells. We all appreciate your videos, keep on truck’n brother.
It’s the way people are. I was taking a few practice swings on the side of the first tee. And had a ranger coming running at me saying only place I can swing a club is during contact with a ball. I was like …wtf ? It’s getting to the point where you can’t even swing , chip , or hit a ball anywhere
What made him think you were new to golf ? Man, you already know. Sigh, that jerk was just another Karen, put on this planet to make others miserable. You handled it perfectly.
Yep that guy is a jerk. Unfortunately there are jerks who play golf and you had the bad luck of meeting one. If you are ever confronted by him again, just say yes I'm fairly new to golf but let's go have a game for 10 bucks a hole. He will be outa there fast. You have loads of friends here who have your back. Keep up the great content and onward to 10k subs. Cheers !
Paul every so often there is a comment that really touches my heart and you did that. I try to be a good person and I hope that viewers appreciate and understand this is the real me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Fortunately there are not too many of those people around. Although I had an interaction with a player accusing me of playing the wrong hole. REALLY ticked me off.
The old duffer was close to being right, in that MSH was chipping on a putting green, and likely is newer to golf than a 70 year old. But telling a fellow golfer to get off his lawn makes him wrong. Keep up the great videos MSH!
Unfortunately there’ are a-holes in this world. Good on you for not losing it. As in golf it’s all about the moment. Let it go. He’s not worth the attention. Good luck this weekend in two ball.
I had the same thing happen to me earlier this year on a public course's putting. I asked the worker at the course who said that chipping a couple yards off the green was ok but further than that was not approved. I was chipping about 20 yards away from the green, so I guess I was wrong.
You are awesome in figuring out how not to deal with this Jerk thinking he owns the place. If you have been doing your chipping for years at this course and nobody else had issues about it, I wouldn't worry about it. I hope you don't run into this guy again. I know on my course we have a chipping green with a couple traps around it, and then up by the starting hole there is a putting only green, but both are clearly marked as such. Good luck in your chipping. Thanks for the video and take care.
I’ve met some of the nicest people ever on the golf course. But I’ve also met a few ill-mannered ignorant jerks as well. You bump into them in every walk of life. But it is always shocking when you see it on the golf course. We are all out there to enjoy ourselves and escape for a few hours, but those kind of people just can’t help themselves. You can’t fix stupid. Good luck on Saturday with Tom. I look forward to watching (if you record it). ⛳️
Yep you handled it well. He’s probably got a hard life. Wife left him. No mates. No work. In the home rattling around by himself. Watching news getting angry. Only other place he goes is the golf course where he knows nobody interacts with him. Him having it out with you probably was his only affectionate form of affection for the day. It’s a pretty meaningless way to live life. People need to learn to live kindly. Then we’ll probably pass from this earth happier people. Keep doing what you do as people do care and like your work. Hey I’ve even gone and got a Hy-Wood due to you!! 😊👍 So you are making an impact!
It’s an ugly truth but we all know why he thought you were new to golf. As a member at a local club it was almost a year before members stopped asking me if I was a guest or not. Eventually I won them over and they realized I was supposed to be there. Now I’m the 6’3” 250lb black guy with green eyes who wears a big hat and talks with everyone in the club house and on the course. I’m sorta like Norm from Cheers. Love your videos.
Well i guess every golf club has such a "person". At the club where i am hitting balls and play from time to time there also is such a guy with whom no one wants to have anything to do. I think you handled this situation very well. I would have lost my temper when this guy said "you are new to golf".
I have ran into guys like this at every golf course I have ever been too. I had a guy tell me I needed new grips on my brand new Irons!! He said he could tell they were worn out! Just smile and ignore.
Well from a course management point of view they could add sings everywhere that say: putting / chipping / chipping&putting This way nobody has to guess or even worse bully people If you have to guess at a place you're not familiar with always go to the staff and the pros FIRST before confronting any players. You know etiquette is something that makes this sport enjoyable for everybody, lets keep it that way The compromise would have been to join in putting until he is finished putting. It could well be that the chipping was irritating him. It's a sign the a players focus is not where it should be: strike ball clean and roll into hole. If you have trouble with focus, a mixed chipping/putting green is the right place to overcome this. Get over it and start to focus harder
I had a similar situation--i'm a hacker and mainly golf for the social aspect. 99% of golfers are awesome (like you). I'm very easy going, however, i think i was having a bad day and i went after the guy--like in your situation the starter was astute enough to diffuse the situation. i'm never gonna be a good golfer--thats fine--meeting and enjoying fellow hackers is what its about for me.
Sorry that happened to you. I hate that there are people in the world like that. When I encounter them, I just think about how lucky I am to not be living their life, a life of anger and confrontation. ✌️ You're great.
Mistah Short Hitter, thank you,for sharing your time and awesome golf skills, yup some jerks are just that jerks it don't register in their brains that they are,
Wow, I've not encountered that level of jerk yet. My wife and I did have some fools hitting into us from the fairway. I guess they thought we were slow. I thought we were on a good pace, because by the time we reached our greens the group ahead was just leaving their tee box. There always has to be some kind of jerk to try to ruin things for everyone.
I deal with people like that often, 1. my response is to be over agreeable (your right the practice green would be a better spot) 2. Find common ground and stroke their ego, ( I see your a good putter, have you played here often what's the hardest hole?) 3. Get them to do or omit to have done what they are complaining about, ( lets see who can chip closer to that hole) or (I know just by looking at you ,you have chipped here before ) say it with praise and laughter 4. Let them win, and or brag up their story ( man that's awesome) (I knew it) 5. Get acquainted ( what's your name? we should play a round some time) Go back to doing what you were doing and guaranteed this person will now defend you instead. Treat them positively like they are ten and they will feel like a ten. I've played Mexico ,Us and Canada , most courses don't want you to chip on the practice putting greens but many people do, so he wasn't wrong however life is better played in the grey area than by the book. this is more about how to deal with small minded people.
He was wrong. In the follow up video I went to management. They informed me that very green is the green they prefer golfers to chip on. That's why there is not a sign.
You’re right, he was a total jerk! Unfortunately, there are many others out there as well. Keep doing your thing and let guys like that be miserable on their own. As I always tell my buddies, golf is supposed to be fun!! Keep up the great content.
Glad the started intervened. Pretty sure the “gentleman” didn’t actually think about your game. Just a projection of his own narrow mind. I love short game practice too!
Just came across your channel. If he's been playing for 60 years that would make him at least 70 years old (my age) and he just wanted to make you feel inferior while making himself feel superior. TOTAL FAIL. You handled it perfectly and I'm sure he knew you weren't new to the game if he saw you chipping before he proved his "jerkness". LOL! Some people are born jerks and unfortunately, there's no medication for that. BTW, just subscribed.
This is so true, no matter where you go there is always some jerk who thinks they are the golf or course supervisor and have to tell everyone around them what to do and not do when on the golf course. Just started a membership at a new club about a month ago, everyone I have met has been great except for the one jerk I met one morning, pulls up yelling about respecting t-times and don't start early, how when doing that causes problems for the grounds crew, yada, yada, yada, in my opinion he does not give a damn about any of that he was just mad because I tried to start before him when my time was later, I play by myself and I play fast, about 5-7 minutes a hole riding in a cart, everyone else I have met are nice and courteous, tell me to go ahead of them since I am by myself and all of them have the same opinion of this guy that I do so yes, jerks everywhere you go. Sorry you had to deal with one of them that day. Have a good one.
I hope the starter told the man "yes you were out of line" and explain to him IF he had a problem go to management, You sir are a better man than me, I'm afraid I would not have handled it as well as you did. I am an old Marine and have found the older I get the less I like people LOLOLOLOLO Take care of yourself and thank you for your videos.
Why can't we all just get along? There are idiots everywhere. Ignoring them is tough. Keep on doing what you're doing. A friend once told me. Do what you can. Hope it's enough and never apologize for trying!
There are individuals like that in every town. Someone does agree with what your doing or who you are and it’s on. I was getting a drink after playing golf with my buddy and was asked if I was retuning my rental clubs. I told him I they where mine and he looked again at them. I own all Callaway’s and we could only think that he looked at me and thought I couldn’t afford them. Sorry you had this happen to you. But jerks are everywhere.
Sometimes there are people looking for a fight. The guy didn't think you were new to the game, he just wanted to share how long he's been playing. Great you focused on the positive and talk to someone else who was being kind... Great video, because it's good to know a problem before you have to deal with the issue. Hope others can just walk away too.
Thank you so much!
Don't worry about dead beats, keep on smiling and enjoy your chipping. Man , would I. Love to play a round of golf with you. You did the right thing.

Spend that much time around golf you’ll run into one like that guy. You handled it right and the starter did too. Fairways and greens, dude!!

On a personal level, I find it's usually best to ignore and move on -- they're not worth it. But it sounds like you handled it best not only for yourself but for any others who may face a similar situation there in the future. Kudos to you!
Thank you so much! I try to keep a level head. I've encountered a lot but this guy was one of the worst. Thank you!
As an American born dude that has an uncanny resemblance to Pablo Escobar, I can tell you that unfortunately stereotypes and prejudice still exist on some golf courses. Like you said, there are some people in the world that are just jerks. I just it movin and don’t let these types ruin my day.
Thank you so much!
That guy sounds like a treat! Thank you so much!
Thank you so much!
Every golf course has a couple of these guys. They think they own the place.
Exactly right! For the price of their $40 green fee 😂
Golf is like
life. People always find something . Be safe and Keep it in the Short Stuff.
Thank you so much!
Unfortunately there always has to be that one guy. Let it be like water off a ducks back. Life must be hard when they carry around all that hate. Keep on doing what you do
Thank you!
This has been the only golf channel I’ve subscribed to in the last year because of its positive content, I guess nothing last forever 😂I’de rather see you review a Top Flight XL 🤷♂️⛳️
Thank you
Hopefully, tomorrow's follow-up is positive.
I played golf in several of my past lives and in parallel universes. 38 years in is new to the game.
Ok.....
Exact same thing happened to me. My response was- I’ve forgotten more about golf than you’ll ever know.
Good response!
Course by my house has two greens. One for putting only, and one for chips or putts. Signage is clear. Both have their advantages.
Thank you!
Don’t worry about that dude, unfortunately people like that are lurking around but don’t let him get to you, ignorance isn’t worth validation, tee it up and enjoy brother
You got it!
I like that😁! Thank you so much!
Small minded self-loathers are everywhere. Ignore him and keep the entertaining videos coming.
Will do!
Well - I've watched both your last two rounds. Keep them coming.
Thank you!
It was a practice chipping and putting green. I confirmed with management in the next video. Thank you for watching!
"There are some people in the world that are just jerks" - true story. And there is no amount of effort that will ever fix that. That just who they are. Be well my friend
Thank you so much!
You are correct! I would have been happy to talk about this great game with him! Thank you!
🤔Good on you. I have heard "I know you are new to golf " before. Good job on not letting the external effect your internal. Play well.
Thank you. He was trying his best to get to me.
I've never played much outside of about a 75 miles radius from where i live. But, I don't think I've ever been to a course that had a separate practice green for chipping.
He just wanted to argue with me. Thank you for watching!
It sounds like you're a better chipper than he is and he didn't like it. Keep smiling. People like that can't deal with it. New subscriber here & really enjoying your content.
@Jeff.Slavich Thank you, Jeff!
My friend there is nothing about you that says new to golf, quite the contrary. I believe he just wanted to be hurtful and was hoping he would get to you. Love the channel and best of luck on Saturday.
Thank you so much!
Let it go. Not worth your energy. Arguing with the ignorant is a no-win scenario. Your channel is great and you are a good guy.
Thank you so much!
There's always a couple of idiots at every course that think once they pay they own the place. Kudo's to you, you stayed calmer than I probably would have.
Thank you!
Hey, I'm proud of the way you handle the situation. I've had confrontations like that, and I don't have the calmness you have. So, at one point, I told the guy where he could go, "not a nice place "
But keep playing, brother. Idiots like that are everywhere.
Thank you so much!
That's the right attitude EJ!
Thank you so much! I'm not going to let it get me down!
You handled that better than I would have. Well done
Thank you!
You handled it perfectly brother. Angry old man. He didn't ruin your day and I hope you won the 2 man!! Chip on!
We did! Thank you!
That is insane! Some people are really messed up in the head. Thank you!
You handled it better than I would. I would have told him to go pound sand at the bunker lol but I'm an old grumpy combat veteran. I don't but up with Karen's from anywhere. Kudos to for your patience 🙌.
Thank you so much and thank you for your service!
Appreciate the video, lm a new subscriber and new golfer.
Thank you!
Karen's and Ken's on the golf course now. There's no safe place in the world to find your happy place. You handled it perfectly because you didn't let him stop you from doing something you've been doing for 8 years. Great videos!!👍🏽
Thank you!
Thank you so much for the kind words! It would be my pleasure.
Dude was jealous of your skills. Misery loves company, and he wanted to drag you down in the mire of misery where he dwells. We all appreciate your videos, keep on truck’n brother.
Thank you for the support!
It’s the way people are. I was taking a few practice swings on the side of the first tee. And had a ranger coming running at me saying only place I can swing a club is during contact with a ball. I was like …wtf ?
It’s getting to the point where you can’t even swing , chip , or hit a ball anywhere
Wow, that sounds like the guy has a serious problem!
What made him think you were new to golf ?
Man, you already know.
Sigh, that jerk was just another Karen, put on this planet to make others miserable.
You handled it perfectly.
Thank you so much!
I've been golfing for almost 9 years and I still feel like I'm new to golf sometimes haha.
Well after 38 years I feel like I've been golfing forever. Lol
Fortunately there are not too many of those people around. Although I had an interaction with a player accusing me of playing the wrong hole. REALLY ticked me off.
I don't know why people have such a hard time being nice. Thank you for the support!
The old duffer was close to being right, in that MSH was chipping on a putting green, and likely is newer to golf than a 70 year old. But telling a fellow golfer to get off his lawn makes him wrong.
Keep up the great videos MSH!
I'm pretty sure it's a putting and chipping green but I'm going to talk to management. Thank you
Unfortunately there’ are a-holes in this world. Good on you for not losing it. As in golf it’s all about the moment. Let it go. He’s not worth the attention.
Good luck this weekend in two ball.
Thank you!
I had the same thing happen to me earlier this year on a public course's putting. I asked the worker at the course who said that chipping a couple yards off the green was ok but further than that was not approved. I was chipping about 20 yards away from the green, so I guess I was wrong.
Thank you for watching!
I agree have a good 2 man tournament
Update today!
Thank you so much! I made a follow up video after talking to management. I hope you get a chance to watch. Thank you again!
You are so correct. I hope to record it. Thank you!
Every club has one just like him! What a shame, doesn't take much to figure out why he's a single.
Thank you so much!
Whoaaaa just saw this video blew up! Good stuff MSH
Thank you so much!
So you are making an impact!
It means a lot to me. Being kind doesn't cost a cent. Thank you so much!
Thank you so much!
I enjoy you playing other courses maybe Glenwoody or Naperbrook?
Springbrook coming soon! I'll try Glenwoodie too.
@@mistahshorthitter George W. Dunne National,
Well i guess every golf club has such a "person".
At the club where i am hitting balls and play from time to time there also is such a guy with whom no one wants to have anything to do.
I think you handled this situation very well. I would have lost my temper when this guy said "you are new to golf".
That did upset me. Thank you so much!
well handled, keep the great attitude!
Thank you!
I have ran into guys like this at every golf course I have ever been too. I had a guy tell me I needed new grips on my brand new Irons!! He said he could tell they were worn out! Just smile and ignore.
Thank you so much!
Well from a course management point of view they could add sings everywhere that say: putting / chipping / chipping&putting
This way nobody has to guess or even worse bully people
If you have to guess at a place you're not familiar with always go to the staff and the pros FIRST before confronting any players. You know etiquette is something that makes this sport enjoyable for everybody, lets keep it that way
The compromise would have been to join in putting until he is finished putting. It could well be that the chipping was irritating him. It's a sign the a players focus is not where it should be: strike ball clean and roll into hole. If you have trouble with focus, a mixed chipping/putting green is the right place to overcome this. Get over it and start to focus harder
The next video confirmed the green was for chipping. Thank you for watching!
Thank you! Keep enjoying the game!
Sorry that happened to you. I hate that there are people in the world like that. When I encounter them, I just think about how lucky I am to not be living their life, a life of anger and confrontation. ✌️ You're great.
But also, I'm white, so I can't sympathize. All I can do is call people out on that bs when I see it and raise my child to do the same.
I thank you so much for your support!
That my friend is what it takes to change the world, one person at a time.
Wow! same thing happened to me and I ignored the guy that was talking to me
Thank you!
There is always going to be that one guy............ enough said. You didn't take the bait. Good on you.
Thank you!
Mistah Short Hitter, thank you,for sharing your time and awesome golf skills, yup some jerks are just that jerks it don't register in their brains that they are,
Thank you for the support!
Update today!
I appreciate you saying it without saying it so imma say it for you.
The guy was not just a jerk, he is a racist and a jerk!
Thank you!
I deal with people like that often,
1. my response is to be over agreeable (your right the practice green would be a better spot)
2. Find common ground and stroke their ego, ( I see your a good putter, have you played here often what's the hardest hole?)
3. Get them to do or omit to have done what they are complaining about, ( lets see who can chip closer to that hole) or (I know just by looking at you ,you have chipped here before ) say it with praise and laughter
4. Let them win, and or brag up their story ( man that's awesome) (I knew it)
5. Get acquainted ( what's your name? we should play a round some time)
Go back to doing what you were doing and guaranteed this person will now defend you instead.
Sounds to me like you were putting with your wedge from a few feet off the green. 🙂
You got it! 😁
Keep up the good work! Don't worry about that guy.
Thank you!
“You are new to golf” clearly coded speech. Dont let a guy like that live rent free in your head.
Thank you!
You’re right, he was a total jerk! Unfortunately, there are many others out there as well. Keep doing your thing and let guys like that be miserable on their own. As I always tell my buddies, golf is supposed to be fun!! Keep up the great content.
Thank you, I will!
Glad the started intervened. Pretty sure the “gentleman” didn’t actually think about your game. Just a projection of his own narrow mind. I love short game practice too!
Thank you for the support!
“He thinks he owns the course.” Yup, it seems like every course has a few of these clowns. 😆
Yes, they do!
I appreciate you watching and subscribing. Your words are kind. I pride myself on always trying to do the right thing. Thank you so much Gary!
Thank you so much for the support!
Thank you so much!
Why can't we all just get along? There are idiots everywhere. Ignoring them is tough. Keep on doing what you're doing. A friend once told me. Do what you can. Hope it's enough and never apologize for trying!
I agree with you!
You are 100% correct!
