Just from the one shot from that trailer, it's ain't much. The color swap from the usual red to yellow is already jarring, as a costumed character is very much defined by their outfit in the mind of viewers, just as the Joker is most known for the color purple. Honestly, it's not even the attractiveness imo. This design, from her stance, the outfit, color, the face paint, all just doesn't scream Harley Quinn. And yes, it's literally just a snippet and wouldn't do her justice. But first impression is important for a reason.
@ShinigamiSamaH I understand the apprehension for sure, but I'm willing to give this one a shot. It's a different Harley, I mean we can all chalk it off to a different universe harley right? If I remember correctly this harley is Asian. I don't know, I just hope it's a good version of harley and the show is good.
@@Himonly414 She's Asian? Interesting. But now I'm reminded of the Power Rangers and how they accidentally color coded their actors. So an Asian Harley in a yellow costume is not gonna end well once the more vocal groups noticed.
I'm not a fan of character redesigns but changing Harley isn't a big deal. The thing is for a lot of us older folks a Batman not voiced by Kevin Conroy just feels alien.
I like the animation but all the colors seem just really bland, and not in like the dark depressive gotham way but just boring. I hope it turns out well though
why is it so hard to grasp the concept of different designs for a show that takes place in an alternate 1940s universe?
How many animated lens flares are we going to get having J.J. Abrams being a producer?
It looks good, and I dont get why people dislike the different harley design

@@ShinigamiSamaH Yeah, I could see more vocal groups having an issue with that.

At least three generations have been raised on Kevin Conroy Batman. It’s just going to be a hard time to adapt.
Oh brother, get over the Harley design

they did some of the characters dirty like two face and harely
@@deathcorereaper5352 yeah some of the producers need time in the aslume.
LOL "Asian Harley? Make her yellow!"
Lmao 😂
