I absolutely believe modern dating has rewired my brain to keep almost every woman (good or bad) I meet at arms length. I don't even know if I'd be able to recognise a good women now if she was right in front of me. I've had great gals in my life, but I haven't met one I've wanted to invest in for years now. I feel like I'm just being used for external validation, or as a place holder until the allusion of the "next best thing" comes along. I then in turn have learned to always keep my options open, not genuinely investing in anyone. It's crazy because this is so not me, and goes against all of my values. It's all due to this warped, self-absorbed, self-righteous, transactional dating world our society has created where people are simply viewed as expendable objects. I have friends that will tell me, "Stop being so negative" or "Just keep your options open/see how it goes/play the field." They just simply don't get it. Sheesh.....Anyways, still a great message👏.

I know a woman that completely changed herself. She looks amazingly beautiful. But the last time I talked to her; she was still single. She has a very mean side to her, and I could tell it doesn't matter to her if she hurts someone's feelings. I was married to her and tried to remain friends. I couldn't do it. I had to start no contact. I did try to overlook things, but a mad person is simply a mad person. Sometimes I look at the empty pillow next to me and remember the nights when we were married. I actually prefer to be alone. I am ok with my life. I exercise a lot; I mean every night I'm jogging or in the gym. It's my new addiction and one day I'll meet someone or die alone. It's ok either way.
All women except maybe the bottom 5% in looks are inundated with the same amount of options that the top 2% of guys even dream of having.
