Jason, a fair review. Dittos on the drive mode selection. I've had this car since Nov 1, 2022, 11,500 miles. I estimate 7,500 to 8,000 of those miles were exclusively on battery. In Pa. my charging costs (my charging cable is plugged into a kWh meter) are ~$35/38 a month at 16.8 cents per kWh. I have burned 110 gallons over this 13 months . . . 104 mpg. (Dec and Jan, 80 mpg. Since Mar 8 onset of warm weather, 117 mpg.) I traded a 2022 S60T8 (22 mile battery) on it. That car got 58 mpg for a year and cost ~$13 a month to charge. Important!! The fuel mileage *secret* on a trip: have your route or round trip in navigation and the battery is apportioned over the entire drive, wherever advantageous. I often make a 175 mile Pa / Md /Pa round trip, hilly terrain, and get 55 mpg. (* it's a secret because no one reads the owners manual :^)
Had you considered Lexus Hybrid? I think Volvo Hybrid is priced awkwardly, most people who wants reliable hybrid but want something more premium than a Toyota would opt for Lexus. Volvo is pricier, uncertain with its reliability and depreciate much faster than Lexus is a hard buy for many people.

But the lexus fromt grill design on the sedan is hideous looking to me, the Volvo design is much classier, clean and simple
It is one of the most beautiful sedan ever produced.
What happens if it runs out of battery? Do you lose the electric motor power or does it work like a conventional hybrid?
