Ariel Atom V8 which is basically A FCKN GOCART WITH A FREAKIN NATURALLY ASPIRATED V8 IN DA BACK which revs up to 11,000 rpm like an evil sport bike (or just regular street Civic) engine was from 180,000$ to somethin close to 200,000$ (again, for a limited production, non street legal go cart) and now you can barely find one used on sale at their official website for somethin like 150,000$. Love this company, if I ever have 200,000 gran on hands with the intent to spend on something I wish, I definitely call their concierge and order my Atom V8❤️

Hello from BirmingHAM, England! When I was a kid my dad found a 50s’ Ariel VB buried in our back garden. Kinda handy (some say too handy...) as he’s a lifelong Brit bike fan. He dug it up, restored it and still has it running on the road 20 years later. The original (Lucas...) headlight bulb even worked!
I'm not even a motorbike guy, but respect to your dad! The world needs people like him.

The atom was designed and built in my village, I got to drive one off the road as a child. They're the most amazing cars and it's great to see Simon and them getting the recognition.

It's good to see companies actually making electric vehicles that people would want to buy. Tesla made them approachable with decent looking models in a surprisingly affordable price range(25k if I remember correctly for base model S). Now Ariel is making a sexy one for performance nuts. I love it.

The 1930s Ariel red hunter also came as a 250cc M/c. In 1967 I bought a basket case 350 with a dead engine, it consisted of frame and wheels plus 2 wheelbarrows of large lumps.I was 16 at the time in the uk you could only ride a 250cc on learner plates. Fortunately one of the lumps was a reconditioned 250 bottom end. I built up a 250 using the 350 head and a 350 cam. I used this bike foe 7 or 8 months then sold it to a friend with instructions that if he sold it I wanted first choice to buy it back,unfortunately he forgot and sold it. It was girder fork front and solid rear with all gauges in the tank together with a fly lead inspection light that doubled as a dash light.I remember the instruction book stated set oil pressure relief valve to be set so that oil pressures does not exceed 20 or 25 PSI. It was also fitted with a twin port head so had 2 exhaust pipes. So long ago wish I still had it. I originally bought it for £5 and sold it for £10. It still exists and is worth in excess of £10,000. You also mentioned the 650 Ariel, the engine was I believe a slightly disguised BSA A 10 engine.
