No, he means reacting because he's talking about responses from the heart. The reason he said to heart and not brain was because he's talking about reacting with emotion. Whether its a good idea to react instead of responding that's up to you I'm just clarifying things.

What happened?
Section of people here are questioning him based on his decision to leave Janasena. They are the same people who wanted people to vote since JD is on their side. It is so important to be thoughtful.

Dear Sir, really an inspiring speech.....you deserve a better position to serve more people, especially farmers. I too have the same feeling about farmers and want to do something. Politics is the best platform to serve more people. It is unfortunate for the Vizag people that they did not make you as their representative in the Parliament. Wish you all success in whatever you do......critics are always there but you don't care....people will react with their heart one day for sure....
Saddest thing is that we are political baised in appreciating Good inspirational lecture. We should always respect JD Sir for his wonderful career and what he has done to the Nation. JD sir keep continuing the good work.

Heart works only for pumping the blood, not for reacting or respond. Everything is in our mind. You can split that as 'Intellect thinking' and 'Emotional thinking' and both comes from the mind not from the heart. Intellectual thinking always leads you to respond in a accurate view. Emotional thinking never works as it always see pain of a person and not for the medicine.

Actually the major reason behind quitting from the Janasena may be the coalition with BJP. it's because due to teh conflicting nature of value systems of two political parties.
