- Is the Holiday Inn Southampton the BEST Pre-Cruise Hotel? I’ll be touring the hotel and room. Breakfast was also included so I’ll review that too.

Beautiful hotel! Looks like a great place to stay before getting on a cruise. The room was so light and airy too!

If you’re looking for a good, clean and well appointed hotel room that you can’t go too far wrong with a Holiday Inn.

Excellent tour, although we don’t need to stay in Southampton before we always recommend here, mainly for the views. Can you request a ship view room?
To be honest, the way the hotel is positioned you’ll either face either Ocean Terminal or City and Mayflower so regardless on where you’re staying you should get ship views.

We love this hotel mainly due to the view from the Harbour View room and a comfortable room. Not good that your air con didn't stay on though. We are not overly keen on their restaurant though. Although still staying there again soon.
It’s definitely the views that sell it and great sized rooms.

No safes in the rooms unless you opt for a premium room.
@@besberry Good point, I’d not noticed that. I wonder why, it’s not as if they’re expensive?
