Glad to have found your channel. Any time I look for 2a/2b routines no one really colors their hair or talks about treating the curls/waves plus the damage coloring causes. My hair is currently bright red so there's definitely damage there but I'm also starting to try and work with my waves. My waves will never stop me from coloring my hair because I just have too much fun with it so your videos are very helpful! Also love the pick hair!!
Thank you SO much. It's been hard to find tutorials or information on hair that isn't either straight, thin or extremely curly. Wavy hair feels really overlooked and I'm so happy I found you. Hope to see more from you.
I bought this on your recommendation after asking about your hair type on a different video - and I love it!!! I'm like a true 2a so this is actually giving me definition that I loooove! and today's 2nd day and it looks held together too. thanks!
I used to convince myself I didn’t have wavy hair because my 2nd or 3rd day hair would be so stretched out. Thank you for posting about a wave type that’s not commonly talked about
I just found your channel and I'm happy to see someone with a similar wave pattern to mine. 🤗 I have also never had success with pineapple-ing my hair at night! I think it probably works better for type 3 and type 4 tighter curl patterns. Oh, and you mentioned it in your other video, but I love the Kinky Curly Knot Today leave in too!! 😍 So good.
Girl, I can't thank you enough for sharing your tip on refreshing 2+ day hair. We share similar hair types and struggles (pineapple doesn't help my hair either!), and I've been having a tough time refreshing my 2+ day hair since I started the CGM a month ago. As life-changing the CGM has been for me (I went from dry, frizzy, limp hair for years to finally discovering my shiny, tamed, lovely natural 2a/b waves), having my hair go from beautiful and wavy on the first day to looking like shite on the second day sucks. Especially after spending a long time in the shower carefully applying all the necessary products, and then waiting around 3-5 hours for my hair to fully dry in a gel cast before scrunching... and on bad mental health days, it's REALLY hard to want to even try and put in the effort for my hair. I can't wait to give this protein leave-in a try and hopefully it'll be able to refresh my hair and make this whole hair journey that much more worth it! Btw, your wavy bright pink hair is absolutely gorgeous!!
My hair does the same thing at night! The pineapple always kills my curls and never works, BUT if you haven't tried the medusa definitely try it! I have the same type of hair as you and the medusa works wonders!
Rae x2 me too! That’s why I don’t add conditioner to my water bottle so I’m saturating my hair with just water and have control over only adding a little conditioner ☺️ I’ve never had issues with this weighing my hair down so hopefully it works for you too!
Looks great. I think this will work with my hair type really well. I used to just use water and a little bit of Suave sleek anti-frizz cream. Yours looks like a perfect recipe. Looks really cute
I'm glad I found you, our hair is so similar! The pineapple thing doesn't work for me either. It leaves a weird massive dent in my hair and makes it look kinda crazy (my hair is straightened in the picture, but is like yours naturally) x
I have had curly hair all my life and have no idea how to take care of it. When my mum did my hair it was a case of soak it and tie it back. When I did it and learned how to straighten it that's all I did. I realise my mistakes now but feel like I have to start over and relearn everything! I dont even know when is the right time to brush your hair cause I'm guilty of brushing it wet 😫 slowly learning through your videos 😊
I tried your link for the W2W leave in conditioner but it 404’s, then looked at hair products and I don’t see this collection or any leave in that’s a spray 😟. Have you changed to something else or where can I find this leave in. My hair is long dark dark brown with purple highlights. My hair is pretty similar to yours except it’s fine and thin. I’m working on improving that while also beginning my journey. I’d love to know what you use as a replacement for this leave in or where you can find it now. Help a girl out ☺️ Also I’m so glad I found you. There’s not a lot of inspo people out here with actual wavy hair. Plus the fact that you have basically the same hair that I do has been amazing. I’m binging all of your videos and learning a ton. Thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge!
I love your hair and your bangs! I was debating if I want to grow my bangs out or trimming them and now I’m definitely thinking them and keeping the bangs haha
I don’t find pineappling my hair helps but I really like using, what I call, a head sock. Like the satin beanies for your hair. They work really well and I find they help my hair not be as much of a mess in the morning!
This is how I sleep with mine! ua-cam.com/video/LXvD3XQyuDo/v-deo.html I literally love this method and a lot of the time I don’t even bother refreshing because it looks essentially the same as when I went to sleep :)
Just found your channel and your hair is utter perfection!! 😍 I have wanted curly/wavy hair my whole life! My hair dries stick straight, but when I get out of the shower and scrunch my hair it looks like yours. Is there any chance that if I added some styling products like the ones in your current styling routine, and this one, it might actually keep a wave? Or am I just hopelessly dreaming stuck with hair envy.
Try it! So many girls think they have straight hair because they haven't tried the right products and taken care of their hair they way they need to! I was in the same boat! Once I started taking care of my hair I realized my hair falls anywhere from 2a to even 3a. The products won't hurt your hair if you do have straight hair, so it doesn't hurt to try!
I've been trying to get my curl pattern to pop more for about half a year or so now and I've had 1 day where it curled/waved really good Dx I still get frustrated with my hair. Im gonna try out the products your reccomending once I get the money to.
So I dont have bangs like you do, just face framing, but for the most part you have my exact curl pattern. Do you ever struggle with getting the front pieces to curl up? I feel like I can get the rest of my hair to wave pretty decently, but the front just likes to hang limp and maybe bend one time and is otherwise straight.
Have you ever tried braiding your hair before bed? I've got 2b-2c hair and my favorite way to sleep is with it in two dutch/boxer braids. It holds your hair in the correct wave pattern overnight so that it looks nice and even in the morning.
I know I’m late to the video, but I was wondering how/when you brush your hair? My hair hair gets very knotty quickly and I don’t know when to brush it without causing frizz.
What do you do with your hair in the shower? I don’t wash everyday and I have to put mine in a bun on the days I don’t wash and I feel like it kinda messes up my hair
If it’s a little tangly I will run my fingers through it a little while I’m spraying it down but I don’t use an actually comb or brush bc if I break up my curls too much they’ll get frizzy so I want to preserve the curl clumps
EquineChar thank you!🖤 I probably bleached it 8 ish times over the coarse of a year. We went slow to avoid damage and I’m super happy with how I maintained my soft and healthy hair ☺️ I did go to a salon!
I love your wavy hair vids, but every time i scrunch my hair it pops up frizzy. Its so frustrating. Nothing ever works, there are no defined curls just a ratsnest, no matter how i wear my hair i always look like i've been dragged through a bush. Does anyone have any suggestions???
How do you prevent your hair from getting tangled while you sleep? My hair gets super tangled overnight so I have to comb it through everyday and ruin my natural waves.
I sleep in an really lose ponytail with a silk/satin scruchy. If i have crazy tangles in the morning i use a wide toothed comp or just my fingers befor i refresh.
I would just refresh it once you comb it out! That’s what I do. I finger detangle a little as I’m refreshing. You need to rewet it after you comb it in order to re-clump your waves. I have my refresh routine posted 🖤
How often do you wash your hair? I’m trying to revive my waves which are very much like yours. But I have to wash my hair every 3-4 days where most sources say to only wash once a week!
It totally depends on what your hair needs. Just keep an eye on it and be careful. I read you should always balance the protein out with a moisturizing mask to prevent too much protein
I will start spraying my hair down and add the leave in conditioner then finger set angle if I need to but you could also use a widetoothed comb. Just be gentle! If your hair is fragile, brushing dry could be better
I tried to get the Woman to Woman leave in conditioner after watching a few videos but every time I try to make an account it tells me that my zip code isn't valid 😒
So funny how different our hair can be. My hair looks the "worst" on washday, putting my hair in a pineapple at night and it looks so much better the next morning. Unfortunately my waves don't last long🤷🏼♀️ But never put energy in doing a refresh, so maybe that's my problem🤣
Hey! Just found your channel ^^ I also have wavy hair like yours, and it's blue and little bit longer than yours. But I'm having a very hard time trying to figure out a haircut that doesn't look bad. What do you tell your hair stylist when you go for a trim, really? :D Your hair looks awesome like this owo
Yo I know 😔 my hair takes SOO long to dry and even longer now that it’s bleached. I tried to get a little less wet yesterday so it would dry quicker and it got frizzy so I think I’m stuck for now with the 4 hr dry time lol
i wore my hot pink hair clip extension to islands restaurant the man gave us the menu's i'm on my phone i heard this women across from us she said this about my hot pink hair to her friend (that's what the hair dye looks like) (i'm like why do you care.why do you care what people's care dye looks like) i told my mom when i got home.i stopped wearing hot pink cause of these people.

I have the same type and i needed this video. Thank you very much and your hair is beautiful 😍😍
Awh thank you! I’m glad it helped🖤🖤
Your hair pattern is EXACTLY like mine, I’m so thankful I found u omg
Thank you SO much. It's been hard to find tutorials or information on hair that isn't either straight, thin or extremely curly. Wavy hair feels really overlooked and I'm so happy I found you. Hope to see more from you.
Yay! No problem!🖤

Yay!!🎉🎉 I love this stuff!
Finally someone that has hair like mine & loves to color it! Thank you so much this was so helpful!! Would love to see more hair/beauty content!!! ❤️
Brittney Jewell yay! You’re welcome! I’ll definitely be making more beauty content 🥰🥰
I used to convince myself I didn’t have wavy hair because my 2nd or 3rd day hair would be so stretched out. Thank you for posting about a wave type that’s not commonly talked about

How do u do that?
I am in love with your hair!!!
Thank you for the minimal routine! :D I am wayyyyyyyy too lazy to apply 4+ hair products and diffuse it every day, but this, I can do.
Your hair looks so pretty! I have trouble with leave ins weighing down my waves but I think a spray would be better for me, so thanks for sharing!
Rae x2 me too! That’s why I don’t add conditioner to my water bottle so I’m saturating my hair with just water and have control over only adding a little conditioner ☺️ I’ve never had issues with this weighing my hair down so hopefully it works for you too!

i just binge watched your hair videos. thank u for the tips ill definitely be using them
i love your hair color! it looks so good on you.
Thank you!🖤🖤

I'm glad I found you, our hair is so similar! The pineapple thing doesn't work for me either. It leaves a weird massive dent in my hair and makes it look kinda crazy (my hair is straightened in the picture, but is like yours naturally) x
Binge watching your videos because they are SO helpful and you’re very fun! Thank you 💕
Awh thank YOU!😘🖤🖤
Your hair is the best pink color I’ve seen
This is the video I have been looking for!! Thank you 😭❤
I love the colour soooo much x
I have had curly hair all my life and have no idea how to take care of it. When my mum did my hair it was a case of soak it and tie it back. That’s ok! We all are learning ☺️ and different things work for our hair at different times so we’ll keep learning as our hair changes 🖤

Love the tips. What do you do with your hair to sleep on?
I don’t find pineappling my hair helps but I really like using, what I call, a head sock. Like the satin beanies for your hair. They work really well and I find they help my hair not be as much of a mess in the morning!
Just curious how do you sleep on ur curls without them going flat?
I just let them go a little flat and refresh the next day bc I haven’t found a good sleeping technique that preserves my curls ☺️
My favorite thing to do is put my hair into two French braids, but instead of three strands I only do two. If that makes sense?
Alexa R. Just a twist ☺️ I have tried that, but it sounds like a good idea
This is how I sleep with mine! ua-cam.com/video/LXvD3XQyuDo/v-deo.html I literally love this method and a lot of the time I don’t even bother refreshing because it looks essentially the same as when I went to sleep :)
your colour and hair is so beautiful
SO glad I stumbled across your channel. Super helpful!

YESSSSS the video we all needed
Thanks to UA-cam for recommending your video! We have the same hair texture and i really like this technique
Yay! Thanks UA-cam 😜

I think she brushes it dry before washing in the shower
I can’t find the W2 Naturals leave in conditioner anywhere anymore
Can you do a night time routine?
I’m a little late but is it okay to wear a micro fibre towel with wavy hair?
Yep!
What am I doing wrong if my hair gets tons of fly away and frizz when I try to refresh?
What do you do with your hair in the shower? I don’t wash everyday and I have to put mine in a bun on the days I don’t wash and I feel like it kinda messes up my hair
Do you ever comb your hair before refreshing your curls? I am so new to learning how to maintain my curls for more than 1 day

hi ! how many times did you bleach your hair before you got to where you are? also did you go to a salon? i’m in love with it

I straighten them ☺️
you're so stinkin cute! I love your whole vibe!
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
lol you’re so welcome!!🖤
How often do you wash your hair? I’m trying to revive my waves which are very much like yours. But I have to wash my hair every 3-4 days where most sources say to only wash once a week!
Just wash your hair when it gets dirty
do you think using protein every other day is safe enough to not cause breakage, or more then that?
It totally depends on what your hair needs. Just keep an eye on it and be careful. I read you should always balance the protein out with a moisturizing mask to prevent too much protein
melinda awesome. thank you so much!!
I have really fine hair and it gets so tangled underneath 😫 do you ever brush it out while dry before refreshing or do you have any tips?
I use a wide tooth comb if my hair ever gets super knotted or matted!
I will start spraying my hair down and add the leave in conditioner then finger set angle if I need to but you could also use a widetoothed comb. Just be gentle! If your hair is fragile, brushing dry could be better
how long does it take to go through a bottle of the product?
I tried to get the Woman to Woman leave in conditioner after watching a few videos but every time I try to make an account it tells me that my zip code isn't valid 😒

I can’t find the product anywhere :/ does anyone know where I can get it?
So how often do you actually brush it?
Never. When it was long and got tangly I would brush it before my showers but now it doesn’t really tangle at this length
I’ll just gently run my fingers through it when I’m refreshing to detangle any small knots I find but I don’t use a comb or a brush
@@melindab ohk thanks
How many times should I do this ?
My hair gets so tangly. When would I brush it????
You wake up THAT beautiful??
😭😭 why are you so sweet🤍🤍
i have 2c hair and doing the hair pineapple does NOT work for me. it actually ruins my curls the same day
so i bought the w2w leave in conditioner and i love it. it smells like fruity pebbles to me lol

@@melindab heey! for some reason IG doesn't let me message you, so I commented "hey~ ^^" on your latest pic:) thank you for your help!
My lower layer looks like your hair but the top layer is straight lol
Wait wait wait what is a parking about
On Amazon, they aren’t selling this product T.T
Sarah Ng she put a link in her description box!
Wow 4 Hours for a refresh 😱 that is a lot
Yo I know 😔 my hair takes SOO long to dry and even longer now that it’s bleached. I tried to get a little less wet yesterday so it would dry quicker and it got frizzy so I think I’m stuck for now with the 4 hr dry time lol
That is definitely very dedicated of you!
Gotta get those curls 💁🏻♀️😜
melinda you might be lacking moisture make sure to balance out the protein :)
lol, is it just be that can't be arsed for a spray bottle and just go ham in the sink and dunk my head in there
My waves wont clump.. they look like ramen noodles.. so not cute.. 😭 any suggestions??

girls should wear make up 24/7. it should be their real faces
I like your hair the way it is even though on this video I haven't yet it was nothing I'm just saying
you look like Candy Johnson.
You are too young to know " thats what she said" you are cracking me up.
