Thanks Noel , enjoying your videos , especially about Pakistan , i was working there whilst based in dubai from 2015-2019 and commuted weekly between karachi and dubai , always on emirates , for the first years emirates didn’t have their own lounge and buisness class used that lounge where you were invited too , having lived and worked in Pakistan i was well aware of the tipping culture and always ensured i had ‘’small money ‘’ in my pockets ,
Unfortunately it backfired on me after emirates opened their own lounge upstairs and i went to the bathroom and just as a matter of habit i tipped a Pakistani guy who was standing in the toilet , he was quite offended as he was not a toilet attendant but another business class passenger on my flight , i was a bit embarrassed …….
But karachi airport is always and adventure , normally a funny one .

Controlled chaos 😂 security screen upon terminal entry, then you HAVE TO go to the check-in desk despite having no check-in bags and you MUST have a paper boarding pass (who does that anymore?) that the check in counter doesn’t even check. Then you queue for an hour to get your paper boarding pass stamped. Then another queue to check that the stamp is indeed present. THEN secure screen again 😂 all with some interesting staff attitudes.

I once waited an hour at the baggage claim at my small local regional airport. We were the last flight of the night and the only flight there and don't. I was tired and wanted to get home. Luckily there were good conversations among the waiting passengers to keep me from losing my mind.

I've noticed the Lahore to Karachi flights fly pretty much along the Indus River or other rivers branching off as these are primarily where the cities are as well.

It looks lovely in Dubai and the flight seemed good, especially that you get a nice hot meal, my only concern especially getting to the hotel is that it seems rather inaccessible for people with mobility issues.

Noel I did this exact adventure to find the bridge, go past the mosque, on to the roundabout to get to the Aloft hotel 4 months ago!! Hahah I figured out the next day that there is a shortcut on the other side of the mosque to get back to the bridge in the airport. 😅 Keep it up and always showing the good, bad, & the ugly.

Some must-see places include Hunza Valley, Fairy Meadows, Naran Kaghan, and Skardu. I hope you have a wonderful time exploring the beauty and culture of Pakistan

Beautiful countries but unfortunately having systems in place to harass and make the travel experience miserable and stressful for no apparent reason .Can’t they check the CC at the check in counter like in any normal airport? Let alone having to EXIT the terminal to do that.
