Fun fact about the original Mario Bros movie. The original director was going for a steampunk mushroom kingdom, and then left the scene partway through production. So the new director was just left with what was left of the movie when he took over. He honestly did the best with what he had.
Hollywood forcing Mario to troon himself to be in a movie is peak meta.

So, this is just a behind-the-scenes documentary as to how Hollywood works.
As somebody who worked in Hollywood for 11 years as a stage manager and coordinator getting quite close to many executives of 4 out of 5 of the main studios, I’m just gonna come out and say that this is genuinely not too far off from reality.
Aside from that, I love the parody, even though it hits a little close to home, but sometimes you’ve just to got to laugh 😂
