If you keep the dodo mat window cut outs you could stick a thin piece of hardboard to them and use as window thermal blinds!

As an ex windscreen fitter the best way to cheesewire a window out is one handle outside and one inside. Cut hundreds of screens out using that method 👌🏽👍🏼

Quite pleased the window was a nightmare to remove. Gives me confidence that some nasty oik with evil intent might also give up.

WOW , looks like I'm going to need flares if I do another van build , but to be honest I'm sorely tempted by luton bodies and ex-horseboxes as I've got an HGV class 1 licence , hmmmmmmm

I spent years on the road, in the 80's, owned long walk thru 5tonne vans, lots of different 7-12 tonne box wagons and a 1963 Guernsey bus. One of the 12tonne used to carry pumas and pythons for Chipperfield circus. Lots of space, great fitting out, exciting times.

I think if you get the roller mechanism that goes in the sliding door trak off the lwb it gives a bit more clearance between the door and the flair panel

You should of layed the panel flat on ground such as grass on top of old bedding/sheeting & tried cutting it flat kneeling on it. Poke cable through edge of glass lubricating cable with glass cleaner. Then pull cable back & forth.
You got there in end. It's hard work & knackering with wire cutter.

Hi Mel, a big fan of yours and been inspired by your builds, I saw you have same ring dc to dc charger and was wondering if you had an issue with the charger making loud buzzing noise while driving as it happened to while away the weekend, I ended up disconnecting it as I was concerned what was happening, any advice would be most welcome

I’m literally yelling at this video
You could have so easily slipped and cut you face
You’d have have been far easier to do this when in the van as there so much more resistance
Your dragging the wire across a huge surface area and your right it’ll snap
Piece a small hole through the mastic and you’ll reduce the surface area to the bead thickness ( maybe 5 mm ) you’ll have that cut in a min and be so much safer
