  • The crappie spawn is on and there are people in boats and on the bank catching them. In this video I decided to get back in the water (literally) after 10 plus years. Wading in the spring for spawning Texas crappie can be a blast and change of pace. Check this video out as I lay out a few tips and tricks to locate and catch spawning crappie while wade fishing!

Agreed! I hate to say it but some of these angers get stuck to their livescope and can't remember how to bring in 20+ fish without it lol not saying Ken is that guy buuuuuuuut I think it's good to show everyone how to do it without any gadgets, show you how find them just by structures in water and working the water from banks. It's possible I do it all winter/spring just working bridges, trees, docks, and banks bringing home 30 fish

Come to Louisiana caddo lake cross lake black bayou reservoir and more. I've caught multiple 2+ loaded with eggs. I caught 4 nice females under 1 of my shallow pocket docks about 2-3 foot deep small males pecking around cypress trees 4-6 feet this afternoon. Wind was about 15 off main lake tho. Tough fishing very slow purple pink jig black beetle spin head 1/8.

Now that's the fishing i like no gadgets. Just plain fishing. Me and my wife went this morning and caught 8 big catfish. We love using just pole and bait.

Great tutorial, you touched base on some valuable details, limbs touching the water, in and out of pockets in the cattails, but most of all slow and methodical. I've waded in flooded timber, can be very productive. Would like to see more. Tell your buddy 3 or 4 zip ties on the bottom of the basket will eliminate the loss of fish. Keep the film rolling!!!

I subscribed but gotta say 3:30 seconds before you wet the hook is a bit long for an intro. If you kept the intro under 1 minute before you wet the hook it would have been easier to watch. If you want to work in the gear details merge it in the middle of the video somewhere after you catch a few to break up the monotony of just talking for 3 minutes in the intro. Overall I like the content, but that would help a bit more in making it easier to watch without having to skip around.

HAHAHA I was too far to hear what happened, but seeing the fish actually falling out of the basket was hilarious. I thought they fell out while the basket was in the water. If nothing else really enjoyed the fellowship my friend! Good show bud, good show.

Real! If I can't drive up to the bank and sit on my car hood or there's no pier- count me out too. Two too many experiences, I know somebody's going to say, "punk", but I'll be a LIVE, UNINJURED punk lol. Had to add on, unidenitifiable snakes are an issue for me too.
