It's not a Sedan de ville. Its a series 62 sedan. The sedan de ville was a step above, more luxurious, better equipped. The series 62 could be optioned up though. I have my parents 58 series 62 they bought in 1960. Has the optional power windows, wonderbar radio, and rare, very expensive Factory AC. Lifelong Southern California car, still on the road.
My grandfather owned Cadillacs. This car reminds me of him and my grandma. I can see them getting out of the car now walking up to our house to ring the doorbell! Nice car!
I had to go back and watch this a second time. The first time i was screaming jay, the wall. The car would come around again, and i thought, jay the WALL. Damn it was stressful the first time. It's a beautiful car.
I don’t know why but as soon as I saw this I thought of Elvis, what a rolling tribute to Detroits heyday, the amount of metal in this car would probably build 30 cars of today great choice.
These nice luxury sedans are starting to be picked by limousine companies as an alternative for weddings. Company I used to work for has a 59 Bentley, two tone silver beige and rust color. Problem is that it drives and operates like 1959, brakes are drums, needs lead fuel additive, air conditioning works fair. But.... only used for four hours or so per customer. This is one to buy for that purpose, IMO
Holy 🦇 batcave thats the big star of All caddys, huge as an aircraftcarrier uss enterprise, from the batcave 🦇 comes this awsome car 🤟 love it thanks Jay grams president of volo auto museum and russel for perfect photografy from tom your friend now and always say hello to All at volo cars museum and have a wonderfull Day 🤩 🤩 USA 😎
I wonder if Jay Leno would like this one! I would love it because I'm sure I rode in one as a kid.. I remember the huge wings. I also rode in 2 others from the early 60s still with big wings before they were reduced in size by the mid 60s..I believe. The person then switched to owning the French cars that rise and lower..can't think of the name.. I rode in that one also. (I rode in these cars on some Sundays to dinner with he and his daughter and was friends with the grandson is why I had this opportunity.) My father owned a big car.. an Oldsmobile I believe.. I actually did not like that he bought a Rambler for distance driving in L.A. traffic.
Could someone please tell me why GM was so slow to put AC in their vehicles? This is a top of the line Cadillac without any AC. I also know Ford was very slow as well. I also know that Nash was the first to offer factory AC thru the dash. So, why was GM so slow?
Actually, the series 62, is the BASE MODEL, the cheapest one. You could option them up nicely. Mine has power windows, the wonderbar radio, and the very rare, and EXPENSIVE, Factory AC . My parents bought it in 1960. Still on the road.
Actually, since Cadillac is GMs flagship, Chevy was copying Cadillac, however, its only similar. And there is no comparison to the quality materials used on the Cadillac, not seen anywhere on the chevy. Put side by side, its obvious they are quite different.

Im really liking this one, I do like the body style
Side windows are laminated with plastic between the glass. These don’t shatter, they stay together
Love this car! 💗
It looks amazing
A car of this caliber should cost much more
My favorite car! I had a 58 caddy years ago. Great car! Good price

We check ourselves before filming! Plus, we had plenty of room with this one. 😜
Longer is always better!😂What a car!! That's what you call Heavy Metal! What a Caddy! Love the white wall tires!🇺🇸 ❤️🤍🩵

1958 was a recession year which makes it quite rare. Not as many were made that year.
I have to stop watching this video 😅 just love it 😊

I am 61 years old now, I do believe I deserve this beauty. 😌
Well here it is! 😉
Awesome car 🚗
Beautiful car
It’s a steal at this price 😊If I could afford it then it would already been sold 😅
Missing options: no A/C, no electric windows? I guess this is the "economy" version.
Nice ! If it was two doors you'd sell it for 3 times the price.
PS sounds like a Mouse in slippers, could also be a cool loking batmobile in black 🦇 wow 😊 😊
Hermoso carro.
Esto es uno cono iman derecho aqui....
