Facilities seem like low hanging fruit for programs that have high net incomes and want to recruit well; Georgia has been doing a great job, from football to the Olympic sports. Mark my words, Alabama is feeling the pressure and is going to make more upgrades to its facilities

Funny thing is, this is probably going to be redone for more football facilities as UGA is planning new state of the art indoor and outdoor track and field facilities in another part of campus called South Milledge.

I'll be the 'Donnie Downer' and say this is kind of scary to me. After all, a college is an educational institution first and foremost, I hate to see this kind of money being spent on athletics of any kind (football is a lost cause, its almost a separate marketing department of top-level D1 schools whose sole purpose is to make money for those schools).
