I wish the camera person would show more of the facility instead of on them talking the whole time
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Imagine walking past that, after you were just denied a scholarship
Suicide fuel
Should motivate you even more to completely destroy their team
@@tylerh1648 LOL
It is a very beautiful facility (yet very expensive). Hurts to see a little after denying the request of attendance, but I didn’t feel like moving across country to go to school for a mediocre program to my preferred major. However, I chose the better option not completing NCAA and combining college education and pro-competition.
Here for perspective on my rejection of Oregons offer.
@@Luaksz did they offer a full ride scholarship.
Oregon’s facilities are all phenomenal.
Best athletes
Fake
Well the ceo of Nike is a Oregon alumni so ofc they go all out for oregon
@@snakebitess7172 in what sport? Zero championships in basketball and football. Not many good NFL or NBA players
@@lilcourtny08 They have produced some of the best track athletes for years now. You have a lot of professional runners that ran at Oregon.
Honestly more facilities should have pedicures, your feet are a huge part of any athletic activity, taking care of them is pretty important for high level athletess
It’s more ur legs than ur feet
@@alexandermckinnon3480 but I would prefer not to have trench or ingrowns whilst being a runner
@@innerhype2187 then clip them yourself? Nail clippers are very cheap
@@forgoingaxis3667 i personally don't have issues with my feet, but it takes more than clippers to fix both ingrowns and trenchfoot.
@@alexandermckinnon3480 i mean when running your feet callous, blister, etc. I definitely like the pedicure station
I was on the track team at Notre Dame before I graduated in 2004 and I gotta admit that I was in awe looking at this facility. This is an absolute world class facility and I really do hope the athletes there appreciate this work of art. Salute to you guys for this FIRE piece of content!
Every UO student: give us more parking
Uncle Phil: Hold my beer
😂😂😂
Take public transportation and help the environment!
@@kujichaguliaself-determina7388 cute
@@kujichaguliaself-determina7388 seems like youve never been on an emx bus 🤣 sorry ill drive my car on eco instead
Uhhhhh hardly any students have their own cars…
Damn! t really pays to have Phil Knight as an Oregon alumni.
@Sasha, he also helps other universities with their sports programs!
There would be no Nike without Oregon Track & Field.
He needs to bring wrestling back
@@zemaiorpittman5806 Plenty of wrestling at Oregon State University that does not have Men's T&F and XC teams.
Phil knight ran track at Oregon him and his coach pretty much created Nike. Oregon= Nike state
Track athletes finally getting sum lovee!
Imagine training, chilling and competing here, and then trying to top that experience in the real world!?
Most runners who compete at Oregon are at least good enough to qualify for the Olympic Trials or other professional meets. They can get similar experiences if they stay running after graduation.
As a collegiate runner I’ve been to old Hayward and was in awe then… seeing this is just omg. Thank you.
I love how the door handles also look like hands making the Oregon "O", Go Ducks!
Shitty uni lmfao not that good at sports and horrendous in terms of education quality
@@ysff0710 oh I’m sorry, was ur Scholarship got denied? Salty because the facilities are superb
@@zaco21_ i got a scholarship full ride to MIT 😘
Look at George Keil man, so inspirational
Flight reacts reference
If I'm an All-American high school athlete on an official visit I would make sure I sign that letter of intent before I left that stadium to secure my spot on the team. I could live in that stadium.
Literally!
Oregon really does just do it on a different level than anyone else. The attention to detail is insane. Incredible facility, there is not an equal track facility on earth.
you good bro?
In 1978 my husband was a lineman at Oregon, when he lifted weights at Hayward field, it was a dirt floor under the E grandstand. You've come a long way Hayward Field!!
You should definitely do more track and field facility tours
!!!!
Can you do the baseball facilities tour. I would rly love that
Could you do Michigan baseball
yeah
Arkansas baseball
Vandy, ASU and TCU would be sick too
Baseball in general
This was great! I was finally in there for NCAA final day yesterday. I was so impressed. I hope they will someday give public tours. The seats are so nice. My fave new upgrade is the restrooms. Omg, we know how bad the old ones were. Two negative impressions: when the rain hits that roof, it is so deafening, you can't hear the announcer, and it is super hot when the sun is out if you are under the semi-transparent roof. Not as much wind flow...great for athletes, but not for spectators. There isn't a bad seat in the place, though. Really looking fwd to Oly Trials and the Pre Classic!
You have no idea how long I’ve been waiting for this
Yesterday I went to the Oregon ducks football facility and we toured with one of the coaches
Thank you for the great review of the new Hayward Field!
I grew up in Eugene and remember going to Oregon football games there, before Autzen Stadium was built and it turned into a full-time track facility.
I ran and did field events during my junior high and high school years at Twilight meets at The old Hayward Field.
I miss the nostalgia of the old grandstands but the new facility is truly world class
Thanks again for a great Vid!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Cool video! As a Duck alum I was kind of bummed about them tearing down the old Hayward field, but after watching the Trials and the NCAAs I think I've been won over. The place looks great! I look forward to visiting Eugene and the new Hayward Field someday soon.
Damn this is what 32 national track and field titles gets you shit I feel for the old athletes who paved the way for this beautiful facility.
Beautiful facility loves the state-of-the-art tour keep up the amazing work George Keil.
Glad you enjoyed it
that spike friendly part whever you are is probably the best part. not having to change out of spikes every 5 seconds
Please keep doing these on track and field!!!
Love my memories from state competing on the old Hayward Field! Will check this amazing facility someday!
Beautiful and is awesome to see facilities cater to world class athletes so they can showcase to everyone what Oregon T&F has to offer.👏👏👏👏👏👏
Love the vids man. Still waiting for that hockey episode
I’ve been waiting on a track one for a while
Stunning! Eugene is a great city and is truly Tracktown USA
Lessgo been waiting for track and field

Did I see a Beaver holding up a Duck flag in the Barber Shop? Love it!!
Wow, just WOW!
Incredible!
Was pretty cool walking to class watching this get built. From the original stadium to this. Go Ducks
Wow! Would have been nice to have had those facilities when I was on the team in the early nineties. We had no indoor track/field facilities to speak of at all back then. One or two less pulled hamstrings......
This is great! More track tours plz.
💯👍🏽

An amazing facility!
Was waiting for this one yall.
That facility is phenomenal. I hope it was worth it for them.
privately built with private funds....so yeah the best track facility in the world...and at no cost to taxpayers or the university...yeah very worth it.
@@cheswick617 thanks for bring this info to my attention. I had made a wrong assumption that it was funded by tax payer and/or university funding. I should definitely do my research before commenting
simply awestruck
Why is our dude so nice? Hes like the most friendly guy who ever breathed.
Wow, still outdoor and vulnerable to the elements.
The best episode to date
Thanks, Gabe! We have more to come...
And, this stadium just hosted the World Track and Field Championships. AWESOME!! 🔥🔥
This is why Oregon is the best. Best facilities hands down.
yes
Miami Heat facility tour 🔥🔥🔥
Such an incredible facility. All runners dream to race there. Interesting though that the surface isn’t Mondo
J’attends avec impatience les Championnats du monde à Hayward Field, pour moi l’un des plus beaux stades d’athlétisme au monde, c’est magnifique
These are so cool.
You guys should do Clemson football facility tour and the content is lit
i paved the asphalt for hayward field. the absolute coolest job i have ever been apart of!
Thanks for the hard work!
Crazy🔥🔥🔥🔥
Wow. This is basically an Olympic-quality facility. Pretty impressive.
It makes sense. Hayward Field has hosted the last four US Olympic Trials, and will likely continue to serve that purpose.
Oregon is the best college hands down. They have everything for everything
Oregon Ducks facilities are world renowned better than the majority of professional teams.
Cant wait to finish the Eugene Marathon here in a couple weeks!
So sick... Go Ducks!
I complete here and it's a blast
Incredible space
Insane amount of money put into a stadium, but pretty cool throughout and worth every dollar.
Go to UGA to see their new faculty. And take me with you.
This channel underrated
Best facility in the world
The premiere facility for track and field. Damn incredible!
Top of the art facility! What about the medical aspect (practice injury, massage, etc)? and the VIP lounge in the stadium?
Yeah, I would have like to have seen the underwater treadmills!
This is crazyyyyyyy
I like the “caution slow beaver” sign in the barber shop
You guys should do Coastal Carolina
Damn I’m speechless
Gotta do Auburns new football facility when it’s finished
Track is absolutely INSANE!
????????????????????????
wow. just wow.
I would love to run Oregon track man truly a dream facility
You guys should try Maryland’s football facility
When a track and field facility is better than most college football and NFL facilities.
There's a race going on 🎶🛸🗺️
Can you do more basketball facilities
i’m so grateful i can say i ran on this track, it was amazing
When West Virginia’s facilities are completed next year, you guys have to go there!
When nobody gives a fuck
For sure!

The perks of being a D 1 scholarship athlete go beyond the cost scholarship of the scholarship. They might not get paid but they are well taken care of. I was born 40 years too early. Only perks we got were track spikes and gray sweats.
Oregon's Sport Facilities total over 1.2 Billion... Meanwhile Tuition still ranges around 40k a year for non-scholarship students... Yet Oregon doesn't have the most expensive Sport Facility in the NCAA...Always interesting to look where the money actually goes and why the NCAA fought so hard to not pay athletes
You have no clue what your talking about. The money from tuition doesn't go towards athletics. The donors pay for the athletic programs. Hayward Field got federal funding due to being Olympics Trails site.
G De Souza LOLOL...haters always running their mouth yet have no clue. School Tuition has no ties to the Athletic department. The new Oregon sports facilities were all privately built...the Basketball arena, softball stadium, the Track facility, the soccer facility, the lacrosse facility, The baseball stadium, The Jake (athlete tutoring and study center)and all the many millions of dollars of upgrades to Autzen Stadium (football)...all built with "PRIVATE" funds. The only public tax
money used is for maintenance, and "SOME" of the various sports coaches salaries, and Athletic Dept. salaries. Tuition pays for professor salaries and school staffers, and School building maintenance.
Suggestions: Clemson Football, Maryland Lacrosse, Johns Hopkins Lacrosse, Ohio State Football, Oklahoma Basketball, Wisconsin Hockey, Virginia Lacrosse, LSU football, A wrestling school
Penn State, Iowa or Oklahoma State wrestling facilities should be considered
Would love to see some soccer facilities! Atlanta United or the brand new Columbus Crew training center!
Oh he's a Nupe. Keep achieving brother!👌🏾
The underground training facility is like a hidden world. Must be a crazy experience for non-Oregon athletes who warm up and wait in there during meets
volleyball facilities next please
