Gives me hope this . I am not sure the angle knife will reach the urethane on my window . I am Cautious about using a thin braided wire . Ta for putting this up very helpful.

I used a multi tool with a flexible spatula/scraper tool with a sharp edge, donor glass urethane was extremely hard/difficult compared to my vehicle (saxo rear window). For my amateur cheap diy purposes it worked a treat, got the glass out without breaking it, had to use full/higher power in a couple of tough spots, dewalt corded multi tool, was afraid the vibration plus pressure in the wrong place would break it, heated function probably totally or partially ruined but I never use it anyway. Tried to keep blade close to body, leaving urethane as a buffer to the glass.
