I'm curious about the Pro/One X and PS5/Series X performance and resolution.
If I'm playing on series S will it be running next gen version or backwords combatable? If so is it enhanced backwords combatable (improved fidelity and such? I don't want to be running at 30fps on One S version which is what alot of games last gen games port to. The one X version is 1080p 60fps which the SS could easily handle.

I appreciate the honesty in providing unedited footage of Biomutant THQ Nordic. After Cyberpunk I've been a lot more cautious on what games I spend money on. This looks like something I'd enjoy!
Cyberpunk was a red flag as soon as they staryed showing fake gameplay in every prerelease overhyped episode (trailers). Lol

I'm genuinely surprised how good this actually looks on a base Xbox One. The devs are a talented bunch that's for sure.
good maybe, but it definitely isnt locked at 30 fps on either consoles, you can see stutering and dips to 24. maybe console players are used to this, but to pc players its grating.
@@bladerj The lag is horrible. I can't understand why people a releasing games without stable 30fps. Spiderman, rdr2, horizon, all are very stable open world games on ps4.

@@sonfable8809 Agreed. I played every single one of those games on my PS4 Pro with performance mode and they still dropped frames for me sometimes. I do think it's a bit unacceptable to be releasing games in 2021 without stable 30fps MINIMUM though.
@@XTheoremGaming ye it's a trade off between performance and quality. They might have to drop resolution down to a muddy 720p to guarantee 30fps. And if they haven't got a good dynamic resolution effect then they'd have to stick it at 720p for the whole game. Which would look poor. I'd rather 1080p with the odd dip to low 20s than 720p. But I'm getting it on pc so hey ho. Haha

The thing is besides prerendered trailers, what company really advertises fake gameplay as real gameplay like CDPR did with CP. Even Ubisoft doesn't do that lol

What. Freezes, low graphic, unstable FPS. Everything is n blur. What games did you play, if this is good optimization? I suppose you say this, cause you playewd only bloodborne. This game renders more FPS than bloodborne, so yes it's better than bb

@@lincoln537 UA-cam can low bit rate and it does. But blur and freezes are in-game problems. There is the same video for PS4 Pro. Both are 1080p, difference only in FPS, but picture in video for ps4 pro is clear. When technologies changed that PS4 became so garbage to render games. Earliel it could run CoD, Battlefield, Destiny and many other games not in true 1080p, but more or less playable FPS. If demo video shows us how the game freezes, then what t ddn't show? In that way PS5 1-3 years later will be the same. Everyone will try to run games in 4k as Sony wantts. But of course it can't (for most of project). So the will be 4k with 20 FPS, 4k with fps drops or even with freezes.
P.S. Of course you can find the game that will be optimized worse than current game, but it doesn't mean that it has good optimization. "There 2 bad drivers. On of them crashes into the traffic light and destroys engine. The other one was bad with parking this day and his dent and scratch on the door". We can pay respect to the 2nd driver and say "This is very rare nowadays".

I'll be picking this up for Xbox One S, so seeing how it'll actually play on my console of choice is genuinely appreciated. I noticed a little stuttering but I expect that stability patches will improve a lot :) So hyped!
I know a lot of footage they have been showing lately is from a build that is a couple months old so it could be better by release!

Really? That sucks. Well I know that you can purchase the mercenary class even if you didn't pre-order it. The classes don't matter at all anyway in this game beside your beginning loadout and abilities. You can mold any of them into anything, it's not like Diablo where it makes a difference, think more like Dark Souls. The only thing thing it could affect is possibly how other tribes in the game interact with you in dialogue but I'm not sure, I don't think so because the charachters are so malleable.

Might be a bit dramatic but, I love the religious ambiguity of the "hopehall." Its boils things down to the root and makes it comfy and warm for everyone, Its quite nice :). I'm sure I'm looking to much into it but hey, some food for thought right? Lol
Exactly what I thought, it is a very cool way of talking about religious places and how creatures unaware of the exact words would refer to those "halls". Those details go a long way to make a memorable gameworld.

This is so honest of you guys! Every multiplatform game should release actual gameplay of each platform before launch. I'm sure cyberpunk 2077 had something to do with this initiative.

I've been following this game ever since it was first announced and I've been really looking forward to it. Unfortunately, I'm not gonna be buying it at launch. I currently only have a base PS4 and for me, 30fps for an action game like this just isn't playable. Especially when it's as unstable as this. I know the team is small but I think getting the game running at 60 on all platforms should've been a priority. Even if it required dropping the resolution to 720p or some other sacrifices. However, I'll definitely be buying this when I have a PS5 or an Xbox Series X. Also, I hope the launch goes well because the team behind this game is clearly extremely passionate and talented and they deserve to succeed ^^

It's 1080p 60 on PS4 Pro and One X. No update on current-gen yet (Series and PS5). Probably only backwards compatible

Yeah... i'm VERY disappointed to be honest. I was hyped for it but there is too much lag when fighting. I dont understand why they are releasing to the consoles that can't handle it.

@@raphaeldias5502 the game was developed solely for last gen consoles. Also you are expecting too much over a 7 year old console that barely runs most modern open world games well. Not to mention biomutant is also a fast paced open world action rpg so some framedrops and lags would be noticeable
