IAE 2954 is happening right now and will continue happening until later on. So go check it out and get on up in them ships. Plus, during that duration, there's a free fly where if you haven't even give them boy any money, you can still touch these ships: robertsspaceindustries.com/enlist?referral=STAR-J5RN-JXT7
Well im lovingthe game atm, melted $5000+ fleet, so can now by nearly every ship i want with credit...then melt and it costs me NOTHING. I did stupid 4 yrs ago, so now enjoy 4.0's feature/content and gameplay, this game is next level and will only improve.
I actually think I like the Intrepid more than most, but it is a strange little ship. It definitely feels like the made the interior and then tried to wrap a ship around it.
It's crazy that Elite is actually making a comeback and is even likely to bypass the planned content that Star Citizen has announced years ago but not implemented even at a rudimentary level. I think Chris Roberts has let perfect be the enemy of good for his entire career, and I'm not sure that'll ever change.
I don't really know much about Elite's current status since I bounced off of it when I tried it a while back. But from what I've seen, the games have definitely diverged in their focus. It is true that Chris Roberts has let his aspirations hinder progress of Star Citizen, but the community has supported and enabled it in hopes of getting a richer game in the process. I'm certainly glad we've got the game we have rather than the one that was pitched in 2012, but it's been frustrating to see it bounce around for so many years. But 4.0 will be an inflection point that I think will sort of set the expectations for what we see going forward and 1.0. If everything works in that process, it's going to open the door for a focus on content rather than tech, which is what we've all been waiting for.
cig:we made an even crappier crusader ship, buy it simps!!! nah its something roberts designed, not the original person that design the ares which still has a centered cockpit...
Oh sir... I disagree, entering the rear is great .... you find one like that, then she's a keeper. ..... I mean, the Carrack with front only entry causes nothing but security issues!
I suppose. But it's not really different than a dedicated path except you can't put unsecured cargo on it. But that only matters when unsecured cargo matters.

Thanks for pumping these great reviews out.
I don't know about "pumping" but I'm catching up a bit.
I think I detected a subtle hint of innuendo...
It's not called "innuendon't"
(reads video description)
"I am the vehicle toucher. I will touch your vehicle. You cannot stop me. I am coming to touch your vehicle."
I usually write those descriptions in a state of delirium after hours of editing so it's always a surprise to go back and read them.
At this point, I want RSI to succeed not because I want to ever play Star Citizen, but because I want to keep watching your update videos
CIG, not RSI.
@SpaceDad42 yeah, that's the one 😅
I've been able to do these for like five years now and I don't see it stopping for the foreseeable future.
Prob the best SC review I have ever watched
The best SC review you've watched... so far.

I mean, it did kind of cost you $5,000. But with inflation that's practically free.
At last! Missed your videos on SC (you're not at fault obviously). Had a good laugh as always.
I just try to keep up with CIG. Luckily, I'm about as fast as the hundreds of CIG developers.
How does this channel only have 7.95k subscribers? Nearly every video has to be watched without a drink in reach or I risk wearing it. 🤣
Some people just don't like to have fun.
Great use of humor, subscribed and liked :)
Thanks! This guy has been doing this for years and deserves more recognition.
Harsh on the Intrepid, disappointingly conventional take on it, lol. I love it.

Getting on to the polaris from the ground is a trial.
All it takes is a commute and 2 Akira elevators
I'm not sure why they didn't put any buttons where human beings could reach them, but at least the telepathic link you have with that ramp works.
@@AbbreviatedReviews They probably just wanted to show off hoe we'll all be psychic in the future.
11/10 intrepid review.

I almost immediately contradicted myself with the rear entry of the Starlancer... so clearly the size of the rear is an important factor.
@@AbbreviatedReviews 🤣🤣
the catwalk is a waste of potential cargo space on lancer, also the 1cm clearance for 8scu boxes is shit

Yall still smoking that copium over here? - Yup
Valuable contribution.
