Maybe the med visor could give you a waypoint to downed party members instead? I also thought it could address what injuries that player has and their severity, but we already have the med gun doing that. Idk if alien parasites are going to be a thing or not, but maybe it could detect those? What could also be a good idea is if the visor could determine injuries from a distance (no line of sight required) by reading injury info sent by an electronic tag that you'd have your party members attach to their characters. This tag would send your basic vitals info like heart rate, O2 levels, and BDL, as well as injury type and severity. This would help the medic determine who needs the more immediate attention. This tag would send the info to the medical visor specifically. TL;DR medical visor receives injury info at a distance.

It's all about keep your stuff organized. And it's about how you perceive certain elements of the game. You may consider it as "waste of time", others may consider "mission prep" and "logistics" as gameplay elements. Star Citizen may reform the way how people perceive proper gameplay. Most games simply push the player through action sequences and let 'em rack up thousands of kills before the credits roll. If CIG does it right, you still can do a lot of combat stuff, but you also can avoid most if it. If you do combat stuff, better take some time to prepare your next job, or you'll be the load of your team. Logistics is part of gameplay and not a time sink. Don't get me wrong, SC contains a lot of time sinks too. But I do not consider mission prepping as a time sink nor anything that feels you more part of the world.
@michaelgiertz-rath7994 putting in even more cut scenes for armor animation as talked about in this video or waiting 2 minutes for a ship to go up and down in the hangar ect is time sinks. I don't mind loading and unloading a ship, for example. Or even having to pick the gear, I need to do a certain job. But damn, how long does a train ride need to be.
@@sirbalendor5600 well, people usually don't live in their hangar, so there is some distance to be covered between home and said hangar. However, you are right in one thing: as long as ships aren't really persistent and you can't multi-bedlogout with your friends anywhere in the system and log back in right where you were, some of the things named above are indeed time sinks. Even if everyone for a mission is already at the same station, it still takes 15 to 30 minutes until everyone is ready to go. Usually a session is approx 2 hours, it means a lot of time is actually pre-flight time. We're currently trying to fit our ships a day before the actual mission, but usually some odd bug destroys some of the work done. And there you have it. Approx 90% of the time sinks are bug related. You spend more time avoiding bugs or recovering from bugs than enjoying the game. On a good day, Star Citizen shines and there's nearly no time sink. At a bad (jinxed) day, everything takes five times the normal time, elevators don't work or you can't even leave your appartment. Relog, new server - wait, you can't switch yet from EU to USA or vice versa since that mandatory period you have to wait before switching shards. THOSE are time sinks. I'm with the game for 11 years now and perhaps I'm more accustomized some of the "special character" this project has. But even I can stand time sinks caused by bugs that should've been found and fixed in EPTU phase. Some of them shouldn't be even in the PTU, and, of course, should never end up in any live candidate. 3.24.2 wasn't as bad as 3.18 but it's a close contenter. And I am a lucky guy: i actually could play 3.18, while most guys could not. So. Yeah. There are time sinks. But the most annoying ones are bug related.
Elevators that lead to black holes, invisible floors, falling through floors on so many planets, including microtech... This game has sooo many bugs it's a waste of time playing as is.
I hope you have the option to, but I don’t want to be forced to. Personally I’d prefer to spend my time playing the game instead of getting ready to play the game.
Imagine having to track your sock durability in game too.. I'm down to try this but there should be a rush function because I know you can get in Mopp gear stage 4 pretty fast when you hear the right alarms.😂
@ryanmitchell4044 but if they need to change a ship in players hands then they will kick up a fuss, so changes needed cannot be done. If a ship needs to be better, but others get upset because it's now better than theirs, etc I like the idea of game and been following not playing. Not liking the windows 😮💨 going into warp drive with rocks in space.... Large bit of dust will end the ship lol.... But players want to a nice view 🙄.... Could of done it other ways 🤐 You got an expected time of release?
@LostSoul-TeemoMain there is alot going on behind the scenes so they can suprise you probs. But they need to show you progress of things they tell you about.... So working on other things will make the stuff they show, look like progress is stagnant?
@@CRO83RTS if a ship needs to be changed that’s on them. With that said, I don’t think stuff like that would be what ends them. I’d say 6 years for 1.0. What do you think?

1. No jetpacks...that will become unrealistic. I want Star Citizen to stay within realistic. 2. While the animals are good there isnt enough of them to make for a believable ecosystem. It feels like they are trickling down these creatures on mostly empty worlds.

When will they fix elevators so you can get to your ship and actually play the game? Seems they have not fixed anything they have made in Stanton yet they keep pouring out new broken content.
Elevators have worked for me for months. You may have got caught in a bad server.
@@patrickguerriero5425 I have tried multiple servers and had the same issues. I even fell through the world recently. I have not had these issues in a long time. The patches are getting worse not better.
I've had this happen before. Not as often as you thankfully. But I do agree. Wish they'd put Pyro and stuff on the back burner and really put some effort into what's already there.
When you upgrade your computer to one made this decade.
With all of these changes, I cannot wait for Theaters of War!
I really hope they don't fuck it up.
Theaters of War should basically just be a MASSIVE planet-wide version of Battlefield's Conquest, and other fan-favorite modes.
Quick action, but on a MUCH larger playing field!
LOL this has to be satire.
@@rasta77-x7o at what point in your life did you realize you were gay?
Humor me as I may have missed it ... did they mention anything about engineering armor and helmets? When engineering releases, we will REALLY need to have helms that can easily show the status of relays and components without always needing to run to an engineering station to check.
15:26 "" Will not look stupid or ridiculous."
**IRaiseMyEyebrow** Huh ... does it now? **HandsBeerToSomeoneOffScreen** **CracksFingersTowardsCamera** Whatch me!
I do hope soon they do show us on SCL, or ISC the profession Armor. Since they dropped the ball in CitizenCon!!!!!!!
Idk they talked about them already. You just want to see them? I just want to see them in-game
Answered alot of questions my org was asking about
Salvage visor i get. The med visor i dont. All players should be able to see if if a party member goes down
Maybe the med visor could give you a waypoint to downed party members instead?
Hoping the armor blueprints means we can earn the hurston artimex armor as a blueprint
only 10years to go...
Also - Sounds like they plan to make Store Purchases permanent.
(Gear)
Otherwise, what stops me from buying armor, getting blueprint, printing 2 dozen copies and then melting the store purchase and buying Another armor set... rise... repeat...
Easy, unlimited Blue Prints.
Salvage needs to strip weapons and components and fuel before scraping and disenabled a ship.
I don't really like the idea of all this new armor coming in when we can't even sort inventory.
I recently saw where ammo magazines (currently 8-12 aUEC each) will soon cost between 200 and 1800 aUec EACH. Is that Really true?
Hope not for pistols and rifles but railgun ammo is quite pricey.
I don't understand - what's the point of unique item recovery kiosks if the way we will be getting those items back is crafting?
After watching all of this, does anyone get the feeling that the visuals we are seeing are quite different than what we are seeing now?
Are we finally seeing game elements?? :O
Fashion Citizen when?
EDIT: I'd love to see a Nova company attacking a sand worm ^^
I can see the MMORPG coming, but it's so far away it's hard to see
Ive been trying to play but the game has just been running abysmally. 24-40fps on a 14900kf + 4090 with 32gb 5400mhz ram. I saw a lot of the same sentiment in global. Most people were attributing it to the servers being overloaded.
I'm glad bombs are getting more expensive
That 1 clip that you showed where the guy is eva'ing and that body "laying" in that container really doesn't make sense, lol. :D
He died before the artificial gravity failed while the ship was not in motion. There are no forces acting on his body, this he stays where he died.
The player character is actively using his maneuvering thrusters in a zero G environment.
I really appreciate your efforts! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
Made it through the whole video, and love you back!! LoL.
I’m gonna get to go to Mars in RL before this game comes out.
Berks already smuggled cows to pyro, so yeah..
Sounds like more time sinks. Cig will need to end those in favor of actual game play at some point
One does not tame Shai-Hulud.
Amazing 🎉 things coming. I can't wait for 😅. Crafting will Amazing too
So many cool things
What’s happens if I die aka glitch in an elevator? Can I get it back if I die in my inventory?
Elevators that lead to black holes, invisible floors, falling through floors on so many planets, including microtech...
This game has sooo many bugs it's a waste of time playing as is.
I WANT DROPPODS!!!!!!
DROP DROP DROP!
Which suit protects against violent decompression?
That one....and a helmet is what 99% will wear....
Too much for different suits... just have things work
"This game is taking too long to make, but I want them to animate the player equiping every piece of armor". yeah, na.
Game needs more depth and less clunky, glitchy gameplay. It doesn't need more ships.
Sure, let's get the ship team to work on debugging the game, and the receptionist, the janitor to.
Love you too ;-)
My Bikini when?
So cool
I would very much want to put on cloths and armor in a real way. The quick way does not feel Star Citizen to me.
brother no, it takes long enough to log in and get onto your ship, let alone if you need to put your fucking socks on one at a time lmfao
I hope you have the option to, but I don’t want to be forced to.
Personally I’d prefer to spend my time playing the game instead of getting ready to play the game.
I think the best path is to have both options
Imagine having to track your sock durability in game too.. I'm down to try this but there should be a rush function because I know you can get in Mopp gear stage 4 pretty fast when you hear the right alarms.😂
Then taking off your current amor (to wear the new one) would be realistic, too. Can you imagine all the time spending on this? 😂
some chapters would be good, I don't really want to sit through an entire 26 minute video.
I hope players don't ruin this game with their demands 😮💨
I hope players start being more vocal, Leaving CIG to their own purpose so far has shown sheer incompetency / laziness.
If this game is ever ruined it won’t be the players fault.
@ryanmitchell4044 but if they need to change a ship in players hands then they will kick up a fuss, so changes needed cannot be done.
If a ship needs to be better, but others get upset because it's now better than theirs, etc
I like the idea of game and been following not playing.
Not liking the windows 😮💨 going into warp drive with rocks in space.... Large bit of dust will end the ship lol.... But players want to a nice view 🙄.... Could of done it other ways 🤐
You got an expected time of release?
@LostSoul-TeemoMain there is alot going on behind the scenes so they can suprise you probs.
But they need to show you progress of things they tell you about.... So working on other things will make the stuff they show, look like progress is stagnant?
@@CRO83RTS if a ship needs to be changed that’s on them. With that said, I don’t think stuff like that would be what ends them.
I’d say 6 years for 1.0. What do you think?
Instead of making the damn game, they just do things noone needs atm, just like mm and those damn containers you have to carry all arround.
Master Modes is the way the flight model will be. You cannot change this it is the reality of the game.
Well, they are making the game: space combat is utilizing master modes and if your profession is cargo hauling, well, you actually have to do the hauling at some point.
So what game do you want they should make?
you lost me at selling to players... over 10 years we havent had a trade system and it looks to be a very far ways away
i check on this game once a year an still the same shi never changes worst game makers there is LOL
1. No jetpacks...that will become unrealistic. I want Star Citizen to stay within realistic.
2. While the animals are good there isnt enough of them to make for a believable ecosystem. It feels like they are trickling down these creatures on mostly empty worlds.
Nah jet packs sounds badass. Gimme jet packs. Don’t care if it’s unrealistic.
It’s a sci fi universe make up an excuse for it.
@@ryanmitchell4044 Jetpacks will break the need for some vehicles also if you can just jetpack places it wont be realistic. If you want this go play Halo or Destiny, This is supposed to be a sim where things are grounded in realism. Dont bring that shit here.
@@Dshak347 Sounds like fun to me I hope they add it. Sorry you don’t feel that way, but I think it’s a great idea and I’ll advocate for it.
I don’t think it will make any vehicles obsolete if they’re implemented properly, and I don’t think it’s impossible to make an excuse for why it works given that much of what’s possible in star citizen already isn’t really possible in our own reality. Haven’t seen any Star Citizen style laser guns or quantum drives yet. I’ll keep my eyes peeled though.
Some ships have ejection seats - what is the missing mechanic?. After you eject you are Supposed to fall to your death?...No. They just didnt implement the solution yet
@@lights4bre890 Parachutes then! Parachutes with limited jett boost to start but not a jetpack that lets you fly around like the Rocketeer or something. that would be broken.
