Thank you Lead cause I've been driving my dad crazy asking when am I going to get fruit on my moongliw and apple pear trees! It's been a little over 2 years!!😂 I'm impatient ❤
You got that right brother Bull. Hey man… you are my inspiration brotha. Your land has come a long long way since you got there. Now I know why you had to go silent for a while a couple years ago. Sometimes development of your land just can’t or shouldn’t be posted. Much much respect brotha Bull 🐂 🫡
You are so right. One year my fig tree looked totally dead. I was about to cut it down but my neighbor talked me out of it. The following summer it came back and really produced.😊
Hi Lead! Thank you. You are right about patience. My daddy planted a broken limb of a brown turkey fig tree around 2016. It has been slowly growing and suddenly sprung up last year. This year it is bearing fruit 😊
Yes the Chicago hearty fig is very good unfortunately I had mine for 6 years then it was killed by to the frost. But I am looking to purchasing some more. Thanks for the video 🤗
My chicago hardy came from lowes. This is It's second year with us and has gained close to 4 ft of height since then it was planted, and is putting on quite a few figs this year.
Good job!! I have a pear tree that is around 25ft / 30ft tall, no kidding. I live in south central Mississippi, and I purchased this land 14 years ago, and had no idea about the pear tree. This huge beautiful tree has given me buckets and buckets of fruit from it, Praise the Lord. Last year 2023 the frost took every single one them, and some years the animals fight me for them. Hopefully I fixed that problem. But this year it is loaded with beautiful fruit, I can’t wait until Sept. to harvest them. Many blessings and thanks to you and your family. God bless!
Patience is key. I have some young citrus trees that were fruiting and like you said… to pluck the fruit off so the tree can concentrate on growing a good root system. 👍🏽 So, I am waiting for my future abundant harvest. Thanks Lead 😊
@TrenasJourney I was wondering how it has treated you all these years because I was looking at the newest model and I am very impressed. If I get it I would like to have a conversation about all of the upgrades with you. I know very little about the previous model but I knew you owned one and that’s why I sent everyone you way that asked about them. I will keep you in the loop if you are down.
@@leadfarmer73 Absolutely 👍🏽 I also have seen their latest models/upgrades. I think they are on to something different than the market when it comes to home solar power.
You are so welcome my brother. I had to show you what you can look forward to I. Just a couple years. I have never ever fed it. Barely water it. 🤣 you the man Odom👊🏽
Good morning Mr lead remember the week you multiplied the sucker leaves well I did it the same day and this morning may 17 it caught 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉let's see what happens next thank you
This is off topic I'm new at gardening, I planted a broccoli plant. Its pretty big but i see black tiny dots on the plant and green worms. I took off 3 worms, I been spraying it with neem oil but its not working now I have holes on the leaves. I looked up multiple diy sprays but I don't know which one to use. What can I spray it with? Thank you but I am stuck plz help 😂

Hi Lead Farmer. Outstanding insights, on patience and process!
You are so right. One year my fig tree looked totally dead. I was about to cut it down but my neighbor talked me out of it. The following summer it came back and really produced.😊
Thanks I keep looking at my tree. It’s growing beautifully but I didn’t see figs.
Thanks for sharing 😊
I loved you LSU Gold ,and it inspired me to buy figs...now I have about 16 😂😂😂😂😂 different ones..I was missing the Fig Spree videos ..❤
That is awesome! I still have all of my varieties but I moved them to another place.

Frost? This tree can take it. How big was your tree?

Thank you my friend. Do you have any idea what kind of pear tree it is?
@@leadfarmer73 I have no idea what type pear, I wish I knew. Watch the squirrels they will eat every fig on the tree.
Have a great weekend.
Peace Lead. That's so true! As a healthcare worker, I liked the play on words. Our plants are our patients some times... 💚
My wife told me that people wouldn’t get it.😂

Lead how long have you had your tree. Yess, I have a fig bush it’s not growing.
What do you use for tree fertilizer? Im waiting on my 2 peach and 2 apple. I planted them last spring from Walmart
I do not feed this tree anything. Never have.
Great video lead ! Smith variety is a fantastic fig lead. Check it out.
I will check it out
Will fig trees grow in clay?
Yes, because mine did, and my neighbors does.
When did you plant this tree?
