It's to discourage regular carrying because its mostly illegal everywhere but that doesn't stop me from carrying my Microtech HALO VI . I'm just wondering if they will include a kydex sheathe like how the Reate Exo did?
@anthonycampos7417 Plenty of places where auto's are legal including my state and I would have bought this if it had a clip, I actually love single action OTF's but the only one that comes with a clip is the heretic hydra which has an aesthetic I'm not particularly fond of unfortunately.
OTF knives are just so impractical as a good flipper opens and closes so much faster. What is their use really for other than just admiring the mechanical aspect of them?
With a dual action otf(button open, button to close) you never have to change grip or touch the blade. I love them. Instant open, cut and close without changing my hand position.
As another commenter implied, a modern double action OTF is one of the safest, strongest locking and most practical pocket knife designs out there. Kershaw Livewire is a great example. A single action like this is more of a novelty collector "just for fun" knife, but there's still a significant enough niche market for it. It makes total sense that MaxAce would release one, since they do a lot of "just for fun" knives and developed a great reputation for this in the community.
Looks nice but no pocket clip and more importantly, no safety! Also the firing power doesn't look too strong but I guess you need to have one in-hand to really tell. The price is very good for a single-action OTF though 👍😊
I changed my mind on this knife. I will get one now. After watching unboxing videos I can see it actually does fire very hard & it also has a safety (although not as good as on the Hydra). The lack of a belt clip is not a deal breaker as I’ll probably carry this in a small molle pouch. Anyway, Well Done Maxace!! 👍🏾
Beautiful piece!
thanks😁
Can we get a no inlay model or woth the 3m grips like microtech as well as a pocket clip
Thank you for your suggestions. We will consider these requirements in the next production. we only have the inlay version this time
Can you test cutting Maxace sandstorm please
Not adding a clip was a big misfire.

@@RedwolfEDC yeah same. Either way maybe there will be an aftermarket clip? Hopefully? They had a better optional clip for the meerkat model
Anyone have a clue on how maxace will price this?
I'm new to the game

There's a small safety slider on the firing button jsyk
@ Aha... ok. I did notice that but wasn’t sure what it was. Now I know :-) Thanks
