Holley timing for a turbo car. There is a lot of videos that don’t really go over setting up the timing for the boosted side of it. Lots of no power adder info but not very detailed boosted info
I'd like to see a vid of the holley self learn. The reasons you say it's misleading somewhat. You gave good explanation on adjusting the VE% tables & to always make a copy before using smooth feature. Interesting as a noobie to this I enjoy learning thanks man.
hey Mate love your videos. work for a Holley distributor in Australia, and learning the holley efi product atm... Im familiar with haltech motec etc but the Holley is new to me... keep up the good work..
First time I've seen a Holley EFI video using the fuel graph to make changes and more importantly manually smoothing. I've been doing it that way for years on motorcycle tunes 😎
Great video, been watching ur tuning videos & learned tons from u, my issue seemed to b in cam selection, I picked street strip & had stumble down low when u floor it, it idles at 70 on map, changed the selection to race and boom fixed my bog
Thanks Joe for all the great info! Interested in Fox Body Mustang Terminator X tuning (88 Mustang GT). I also have the Holley 6.86" Pro Dash installed and would enjoy seeing a video on this. Keep up the good work!
Hey Joe hope your having a great day, just wondering if you have a video of dome sensor boost control for the Holley. Boost vs. rpm just curious I’m just not getting any help from Holley tech help. Thank you!! Keep kicking ass!! Brent
Is there a ways to tune my car so taking off in first gear and at low speeds in second gear are smoother with the Terminator X. My car really likes to buck at lower RPM and there is not a smooth transition into first gear unless I am at 1700RPM or better. I have supercharged 302 in a 1965 cobra replica. This has only been an issue since I installed the Terminator X. Tremec transmission TKO 600.
Hey man keep up the great Content. I’m currently learning how to tune on the Holley software and just tune in general. your channel is my main go to source of information and I really appreciate that. I’d be interested in seeing some tuning from driving on the road. Obviously I don’t have a Dino I can get on one but I’d like to figure out and be more efficient at tuning in before I pay to get on a Dyno and or look like a idiot. Especially tuning the timing honestly fuel to me doesn’t seem that complicated. It’s the timing that scares me with knock and I really just don’t want to blow up my engine
Do you happen to have a video on how you apply datalog readings to the fuel map a little more? I saw you explained it a little in here. Curious if you have any info while doing live datalog and correcting the fuel table. Thanks Joe, your videos help tremendously
Hey Joe, I am trying to diagnose a hiccup in my Terminator X LS build and in my data log I see my Estimated VE hits over 200 at one point. Is that something I should worry about? I know you are a busy man, any information is greatly appreciated.
Just got my Blazer back from Dyno. Made it half way home. Come to find out it keeps fouling plugs. Shop can’t seem to figure it out. I need help or advise please. Have terminator x with sniper throttle body and fuel system. Ran great for a few miles. Fouls plugs on both base tune and the actual Dyno tune. Only runs for about 30 minutes.
I’m trying to build a spark map for e85 sbf 15lbs boost. What do you recommend for a safe hot spark map. Car has flex sensor setup off watching a sloppy mechanic vid
Id be interested in tuning in VE. My car runs fine and I thought the fuel table was good, but i started looking into the VE table and it is all over the place. . Thanks for the great content , it helps tremendously
Do one on IAC. My terminator falls on its face after I rev it. Like if I’m in reverse, I’ll gas it, then let off. It wants to fall on its face then bounces back to 750 RPM.
I have the terminator x max and have already gone through a O2 sensor in three months and haven’t even drove the car how ever I replaced the O2 sensor and now it backfires through the exhaust but if you unplug the O2 sensor it runs like it use too HELP
I’m new to the Holley terminator x and I have a d1-x on a 5.3 LS wbosh 210 around 10 psi and I would like to run the track tomorrow on some 110 can I bring the timing up? And make sure I’m getting enough fuel.. I have a fuel lab pump and dash 8 AN
I’ve done the base set up and it’s building it’s own map and it seems to run well .. I’m going through all your videos and there is so much to learn before the races that start in 8 hrs😞
Hey Joe, should I run the stock knock sensors with the x max ? Or should I have it run speed density. I'm new to efi. Coming from carbs and distributors all my life. I'm new to tuning. And thank you for your videos ive learned alot

THIS ONE IF YOU HAVENT ALREADY PLEASE!
I’d be interested in a ve vs speed density video. Quality content.
Me too, I’ve always used SD. I heard you say VE makes more sense. I’d love to see the differences between the two. Thanks Joe!
Me 3
It’s so hard to keep up as a beginner it’s ok I’m pausing it and thank you
Thanks for taking the time to help us newbs

I wouldn’t use Holley if i couldn’t do it that way! And manually smoothing is mandatory!
Good info, man that has bugged me, that’s one feature that I like in HPtuners is the table manipulation functions

Awesome channel and appreciate all of the info! Well known and respected in the great state of MD!
Thanks i appreciate it!
Would you be able to make a video showing the timing graph, the same as you did with the fuel graph?
Love the Holley stuff. Keep it coming!
If my learn table shows 60% fuel correction in the cruising area; what percentage would you change the VE numbers on the fuel table ?
can you do a video for nitrous set up including figuring out the added fuel enrichment for dry shots.
Anyway that you can make a video on initial start up and tune for the terminator X-Max stealth 4150. Doesn’t seem to be many out there. Thank you

thanks again Joe....what a great teacher and tech you are.where did you learn all the tuning skills you have.what state are you in?

Love to see some Fueltech stuff now that I have a good crank signal. Lol

I Havnt done one like that but about 50,000 people have asked about it so i probably should
@@JoeSimpsonAtTempest that would be awesome. 50,001 of us would be greatful.
Awesome video great content I would love to see a video of you doing a data log going through making changes with th VE table

Got any experience using this on a 2003 cobra 4.6?
Thanks for another great video

Hey Joe, how much will you charge to review my tune and clean it up?
Would you choose speed density if it was a 302 Ford?
I use volumetric efficiency for everything
Can I run a aem 380 external fuel pump to power a lsa. . ???
One of the few that like the hondata videos
I could do a million of those haha
Joe Simpson that’d be awesome!
I never knew I wanted my first dyno experience to be a hub dyno
That's the main way I tune the Hondata S300!
Thank you
I need a good 4l60e tune please help terminator x max
Ecoboost. Will you take on a Ecoboost?

That’s impossible to answer from that little bit of info. Gotta tune for it and figure out what it wants

Wish I was closer I would totally choose you to tune mine

Possible to do a video on how to set up anti-lag? (Not 2-step) (bang bang fireballs out of exhaust) lmao
Any one sell a ecm to control the new ford 6.7 diesel motor?
Curious as to why you do ve based. Most go the other way from what I can tell
i plan to do a video on that actually
