I didn't think it was possible to improve this figure modifying the cell shading - but you did it! MAJOR KUDOS KEN! It looks a TON better than the manufacturer cell-shaded one!
Aww thanks! This was a tough one. It’s quite difficult to do cell shading right in real life without breaking the illusion, especially with Venom’s unique red and blue highlights. Hasbro tried! Haha
Marvellous improvements! The figure now has less distracting red and blue lines on the body , more screen accurate angular eyes, well defined teeth and good looking red and blues lines on the back of his head. Amazing fixing! 👍👍👍
You have deep thoughts when you paint the highlights. The blue and red highlights stand out differently in different angles. The highlights make the photo shoots even better. 👍👍
@@danielmontero8200 yeah, I don't know why Hasbro pretend to make animated series figures, they are awesome especially the retro Spidey but sure they are not series accurate
@@drepi538 I just realized something. Hasbro still hasn't made a first appearance Marvel Legends figure for Spider-Man. I don't why, they definitely should. If they ever made it, it should come with detachable web wings, a black web with a bendy wire in it, wall crawling hands, fisted hands, thwipp & web grabbing hands. The figure should have that cell shaded look to it as well.
Great Video. Your paint job definitely made it better looking. I have a request for a future video. The Halo Spartan Collection Sarah Palmer. I would love ti see how you would tackle the face.
I think this with a few UA-camrs but Hasbro needs to hire you. Your fix wouldn't have taken that much more effort but it really makes the figure look alot more like the source material. Excellent work as usual mate 👍

This came out great. I appreciate this custom wasn't another "let's remove the all the highlights. " I understand people are a bit impatient and want their own "standard venom" but doing it on this takes away the uniqueness of the figure.
Definitely a success. It looks better.

Yes, the highlights are not that busy after your fixing. The effect of the highlights works better now. You have proved what 'less is more' means.
The teeth are much defined and fearful after you have fixed them. Impressive!
I like it 👏👏👏👏
10/10 you had way better vision than the original toy designer. Those highlights are spot on and you are 10000% correct on the matte black.
Yeah, I'd definitely say you Ken!

I distinctly remember that 3D Spiderman cartoon(MTV Spider-Man the new animated series) looking pretty great for the time, it holds up.
I think it looks great!
So much better than the original! The reds and blues are not as thick and distracting... freakin' awesome job Ken! Hope ya do more comic characters
Bro I have to say you do an amazing job doing your figures never stop doing what you're doing can't wait to see see reach 100k to get your play button
I think the original venom is a bit funny although it is supposed to be fearful. After upgrading, venom is more ‘venom’.
Looks pretty good.
I think the best way to do the color highlights is with a clear blue and clear read coat. On a fully black body
Love your videos! Awesome custom 👌
What a fantastic job man...😃👍💡
I thought the original figure was already accurate and didn't need fixing, but you're customization skills proved me wrong. Congrats.
The original is different as hell like all the figures from the retro wave, they are very cool but nothing to do with the animated series
@@drepi538 So the figures overall ain't "series accurate". Yeah, I agree. Especially Spidey.
@@danielmontero8200 yeah, I don't know why Hasbro pretend to make animated series figures, they are awesome especially the retro Spidey but sure they are not series accurate
@@drepi538 Yeah I agree. The Spidey is awesome as a regular Spider-Man, but for sure does not look like the show. It's just too different.

Lovely work on a figure of the only good animated incarnation of Venom other then the one from Spectacular Spider Man.
Yeah this is awesome. I love the improvements that you added!

Let's go! Another video to brighten my day!
Wow nice fig now

I liked it
Hello, what kind of paint did you use on the eyes, its looks so smooth , did you use any polish?
Nice
Now that you’re doing comic/cartoon figures(great job btw) can you try fixing the retro sue storm’s head if you have it.
You should add cell shading to the symbiote suit Spider-Man marvel legends that just released
YESS!! just need to find one now 🥲
@@KenIMakeIt Big bad toy store and Amazon still have them. If you wish I can give you the links.

Awesome job! Any way to purchase one through you?
Hi Ken! I like your customize! Can you fix the batman McFarlane Movie Figure?
Please make a video about fixing Marvel Legend's Spiderman No Way Home Dr.strange. looking forward for your future videos!
You should do the black parts in vanta black to make it truly 2D. I think it’d look really cool with the red and blue highlights
nice
I never realised venom had literal red and blue lines in the cartoon series
Can you remove the blurs and reds with nail polish.
I haven’t tried! I usually add colours or cover up the existing colours 🤔🤔

To be honest I like it better befor in my opinion
Deadpool and Blackpanther Movie plss I think u can make it more beautiful
Can u do black panther?
fixing 2002 green goblin figure
Hey bro, if you're on Facebook you should join the Custom Figure Studio group, your work would be well received.
Pls do the integrated suit pls pls pls pls
You fix it by painting it black lol. I hate cell shading on these figures :(
Why not do a spiderman no way home scene
I was never a fan of the red on Venom. Looks like shit. Carnage is red, not Venom.
