One of my favorite videos every month!! Headed out on a cruise today so might have to come back to this a little later because I'll probably have to order half of them 🙃
OMG I'm 1000% here for a Scarpetta adaptation! I've loved those books for so long but haven't picked one up in ages. Time to remedy that! The Debutantes! What a cover!
My TBR is exploding!! Still reading at least 10 books a month but taking October to also set myself up for NaNoWriMO in November. Haven't done it in several years. Also taking a thriller writing class with Harlan Coben on BBC Maestro. I bought the Clever Fox reading journal but returned it. It only gives 9 lines per month, not enough for me. But I do want a better journal than my notebook. Thank you for all your hard work and precious time on these videos.
Ditto on the exploding TBR! I can't keep up and can't decide what to read next. Also gearing up for November. If you're looking for writing sprints, Sisters In Crime is doing them every day, 4x/day. You don't need to be a member to participate in November. I find them so helpful! I hear you on needing space in the journal. My monthly numbers are down this year, but love having a place to make notes on all those audiobooks!
Ohhh, I have been waiting a long time for Scarpetta to come to the screen, sign me up! I need to read The Plot (which reminds me of The Words - the movie w Bradley Cooper - Ohhh So Good!). I, too want to tell you how adorable your hair style is! I am wondering if you are using Jones Road? I just recently ordered their Au Natural and wondering if this is how it would look to others, back to books. I would like to get to Cackle this Spooky Season, it has been on the TBR for two autumnal seasons now time to move it up! Hoping you are experiencing some cooler weather, love this time of year! xx
Cackle is perfect for spooky season. I loved that book. Not cool here yet - craving actual fall so desperately. I'm so curious about the Scarpetta show. I've been having fun being back in the series. The hair cooperates when the humidity goes down 🤣 And I know we're here for the books, but also the products -- I'm wearing Merit's highlighter in Cava. They have some nice stuff.
@@ChapterandConverse I think I need to read it, I have been wanting to for awhile. We have had glimpses of a peek at Fall and now we are expecting 80 degrees on Friday, What? LOL - Wow, Well we all want to know what makes you look so great with that healthy glow! Thanks! xx
Thank you both! I did revamp my whole nighttime skincare routine but credit has go the Merit's highlighter in Cava + the fact that I have two umbrella lights pointed at my face 💁🏻♀️ But it's seriously a really good highlighter - they have some really nice products.
I'm currently reading Here One Moment by Liane Moriarty and The Wedding People by Alison Espach. TWP is not what I expected--not bad but depressing. I am most looking forward to Benjamin Stevenson's novella. His humor cracks me up. Happy reading!
Same on Benjamin Stevenson -- Ernie is so funny. Also didn't expect TWP to be so dark -- the synopsis didn't prepare me but I ultimately loved it. Hope you do too!
Nooooo to Kidman as Scarpetta!. I like you, picture Patricia Cornwall type. I can see Jaimie Lee Curtis more as Kay but probably too old now. Hate it when they don’t cast the way I want it lol.
I’m surprised there is a sequel to the plot. I won’t be reading it. There are several other books here though that I do want to read. My most anticipated October release is The Fury of the Gods by John Gwynne. Epic fantasy by a fantastic writer. The journal is beautiful. And I am here most of all for Benjamin Stevenson’s next book.
I’m excited for book 19 in The Three Pines, Inspector Gamach series. THE GREY WOLF by Louise Penny on October 29th!
I got to see her at Thrillerfest -- such an interesting interview. I get giddy for new series books too!
Audrey love your hair shorter. So cute! Great recommendations!📚💗📚💗
Thank you so much and so happy you found some recs 💕
So many books and so little time! Best wishes.
I totally agree! Where to even begin???
Ohhhhhh. A Kay Scarpetta adaptation??? Yes please!!!!
Right???? Such great news. There's seriously so many great adaptations happening. I finally started Presumed Innocent. 2 eps in and I'm on board!
Had so much fun doing your Round 5 Booktrovert Bingo! Will you be doing one for Fall/Winter?! 🤞
One of my favorite videos every month!! Headed out on a cruise today so might have to come back to this a little later because I'll probably have to order half of them 🙃
Enjoy the cruise!!! And let me know what you pick up....I'm of course sitting here on Pub Day trying to make a shopping decision 😜

I'm up to Book #15 in the series. It's been fun dipping back in and being back with the team!
Audrey, I’ve been thinking of you with every Mets miracle. LFGM!!
Great haircut and book suggestions 💇🏻♀️📚
Thank you 💕
Jake Cannavale is Bobby’s son. Can’t wait for the TV version!
I hope they play father + son, but can't figure who they would be 🤣

Omg Jason Rekulak I just picked up yesterday and so good!
Ahhhhhh!!! Okay....moving it up my list!
Audrey, that glow! What highlighter are you wearing?
Yes tell us. Your skin looks amazing.

@@ChapterandConverse thank you! Your skin is positively glowing, much in part to your genes, and skincare routine, I'm certain! 🥰
I also might be wearing rhode skin's glazing milk. That stuff is magic! Haha! I am down for all the products that's for sure!

This Girls a killer was a fun dark humour kind of read I just finished it this weekend...highly recommend ❤
That sounds right up my alley! So happy you loved it!
Also, I do NOT picture Nicole Kidman as Kay Scarpetta. Lol
📚 💞

Haha. Right??? I think JLC was going to be Scarpetta way back when. So curious where they are going to start the story.
You forgot to mention Paula Hawkins new book; The Blue Hour....
I always miss books 🤦🏻♀️

Benjamin Stevenson is definitely great fun! Enjoy the fantasy. I have visions of diving into another big book this winter!
ahhh... yeah, you need to read Blood Sugar. It's very good but not what you think! ;)
I'm intrigued.....
I heard one tree is coming back
YES!!!! I read it's going to be from the female perspective -- Sophia & Hillary are making it happen.
Jake is Bobby Cannavales son
That makes all the sense - not the most common last name. Wonder who they are playing in the show 🙃
