I used to watch you a decade ago and I kind of pulled away and stopped watching when I saw the new agey stuff popping up.
Your video popped up again this month and I am blown away by the goodness and faithfulness of God to rescue us from ourselves. You have grown so much and really taken the narrow path. It’s not for the faint at heart and it’s so amazing to watch the Lord in you transform your life. I love watching now and feel a kindred spirit in you. We take up our cross all for the glory of God.

Im 33 and have worked my tail off to get where i am. I’m a director in my field but my anxiety has been terrible and for the last couple of years I’ve wondered is it too late to change directions - this week i prayed to God for clarity…I believe this video is an answered prayer.

I had a very similar experience: I quit my corporate job in entertainment at the top movie studio in LA because it just wasn’t worth the time and stress. I moved to LA from Chicago alone with a similar dream, I was following a passion to market films to the world and came in with rose-colored glasses. I knew nothing of what that would take: the sacrifice, corporate greed, it chips away at what you fell in love with in the first place. I felt like I had to make it work because I invested so much money into this decision to live and work in LA. I still live here because I found love - my bf. But I no longer want to work within entertainment. I prayed to God and decided I want normalcy, a job where I can make positive change that fulfills my soul so I’m looking for more humanitarian positions.

There must have been a shift that happened in 2020 where many people, including myself. started to realize that chasing material things, money, status is all an illusion. I gave my life to Christ at that time period, and ut brought me peace. I came across your channel and seen many other youtubers like Jefree Star moved out of Los Angeles and is now living on a ranch. Like they say, less is more. It doesnt take much to be fulfilled and happy.
I moved from near Los Angeles to Denmark but near the city in Copenhagen. It has been so hard and I miss home everyday. I take my hats off to you enjoying the countryside In another country.

This is crazy…. I was sitting here randomly thinking why don’t I see “my girls” on UA-cam and realized I was logged in under my second account I use to research. Then boom the first post I see is good ol’ Shameless Maya speaking on where I am at currently. I was in my bathroom crying trying to figure out why I am not happy. I have money, some access, and the things they say you should have but I feel numb….. it’s the constant of achieving and getting more and that more is leading to my unhappiness. I was telling my husband I was most happy in our one bedroom apartment with neighbors fighting next door and working a job that paid horrible, but I loved. I needed to hear this in this moment. I am going to start working on a plan to scale back .

I don't know you, haven't seen your channel before (new sub-I wanna support your efforts) but I saw your testimony on Randy Kay and I want to tell you- I'm so proud of you for being convicted enough to walk away from all that you did for the Lord! The earthly treasures are nothing compared to what awaits us eternally. It moves me to see someone from that world be in the light of Yeshua. You are such a beautiful, delightful woman (I can't believe you're 40 btw-did I hear that right? You look like you're in your 20's 😄). I'm also fairly new, truly in the Body of Christ and I've struggled with how to talk with people about it, not being able to whip off scripture, but I've realized you don't have to. I think that will come in time. I also struggled with just wanting so badly for people to see the truth, but I realized you can't force people to see what you see or feel how you feel and I realized finally all He wants us to do is just plant seeds with people and I think you will plant many for Our Lord and Savior Yeshua, Jesus Christ. 9:14 you know not to throw shade in any way but when I watched you way back when I saw that you seemed to do a lot of things that weren’t really tied to a particular reason or maybe trying to see the point of what the social norm presented…but I say that to see that now you’ve paced yourself, it seems more intentional.
