The driver said that he didn't know where the Vinpearl resort was , which makes sense because they're a local service and local people don't usually take this bus to beachside resorts. Didn't seem like he was treating you badly on purpose.

I thought the same thing, happened in Thailand in my van. A lot of the tourists didn't have data to show location and kept saying their hotel names like the Thai driver would all of a sudden know English. You have to be prepared when you're paying $10 for a two hour ride.

Was In hue/danang for 40 days back in 2017 was fantastic going back in 2023 😀
Da Nang used to have the American military base there. They loved the beach near their base. Da Nang also was the first place when the French arrived in Vietnam 🇻🇳 in the 19th century. Da Nang today is the city that expats preference. Have fun and enjoy !

I live in the South of Vietnam, I have been to Da Nang 04 times and I am very satisfied, I recommend you to go to Hoi An, which is only about 30km from Da Nang but very beautiful, and there is also a wonderful Vinpearl Hoi An, ... .have a nice trip. Best regards

I got dropped off “close” to my hotel once in Vietnam. Close enough I guess, just walked across a construction zone, beach and somebody’s back garden, but close enough. I can’t wait to get back to Vietnam. Best vacay ever!

At Marble mountain, Linh Ung pagoda is the oldest pagoda in Danang, you can go up to visit Tam Thai pagoda and Huyen Khong cave. This cave is so wonderful. If something happen to you from driver, you can take some picture of the plate number, name of company, driver and make a call to his company or police to tell them the true. Sure that, there are alot of people who’ll help you. Good luck!

It’s certainly beautiful. But a useful tip is not standing near the bridge when it sprays water. You will be like under heavy rain. I, a Da Nang local but living abroad for 5 years, have made a travel video in Da Nang and why not check it out on my UA-cam page

Thats weird usually those limousines will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel. I ride them once they came and pick me up at the hotel.

I think that bus driver dropping you off next to a bunch of taxis is a bit of a scam. He gets a bit of cash from the taxi drivers for doing so. Used to happen in Thailand years ago but less so today. Vietnam is amazing. Good luck!

That's gotta be the worst limousine experience I've ever seen, and I'm a Vietnamese btw. $8 is a cheap price already, I have to say that, but they don't have the rights to treat you like that. I recommend that you complain to the service provider about your incident.

We possess the biggest cave in the world. And one and only one country to beat the Mongolian armies 3 times 900 year ago. And many more such as the only woman like 2 sisters empresses 2 Ba Trung were crowned in Asia from the normal housewives to a leader of a nation
