You guys said Vietnam doesn't have vegetarian options and that upset me! Vietnam is one of the most vegetarian friendly places in Asia! Just look for CHAY written without any accents or G'om CHAY which means rice buffet. You'll also get to taste local dishes that vary by region. At the Chay places you can try all the different kinds of noodle soups, Vietnamese pancakes etc and it's all like under 30000 vnd per meal. We found like at least 10 different local veg restaurants in Danang. Hanoi was the most tricky as far as vegetarian goes but everywhere else including Ninh Binh, Da Nang, Da Lat, Saigon etc had so many options that we didn't get to try it all.
You’re absolutely right! You can have almost every single Vietnamese dishes vegetarian style. Because Vietnamese are mostly Buddhists so vegetarian dishes is an essential in the country.
Yeah that’s right. Cuz Da Nang has a number of vegetarian options. CHAY is a right word for u guys when u look for veg restaurants. Hope u guys have a nice trip in Da Nang which is my hometown ☺️☺️
Another option for vegeterians is just go to any restaurant and stated you are looking for vegie only. Almost any restaurant have their own CHAY dishes.
Great video! Danang often gets overlooked because of Hoi An, but definitely worth visiting both. I think Vietnam is my favourite country in South East Asia. Just love the place.
Golden experience for you when traveling in Vietnam: ask for prices before buying anything. Diamond experience: you can ask anyone when you need help, even though they can't speak English.
Vietnam is an amazing country to explore and Da Nang is my favourite location there, friendly people, great beaches and lots of great places to stay and things to do.

:)) If you want to come to Vietnam, there are things you should be ready to prepare: -1 Prepare for mandatory quarantine and undergo several Covid 19 tests over 14 days. That is to make sure you are not infected without symptoms. And also to protect more than 100 million people living in the country (including citizens of all countries from all over the World). -2 If you have a certificate of vaccination against Covid-19, confirmed by the Embassy, you may be exempt from quarantine. -3 You should prepare a backup plan for your finances when there is an emergency and you cannot leave Vietnam. -4 Have some language translation apps ready to go in Vietnamese. When you are in a deadlock situation, do not hesitate to use a translation program to ask for help from a Vietnamese. Let them know your situation, they will help you without paying anything, just thank you.
