Off the rocks use a float, check tide direction. Draw a circle on piece paper, rule a line thru middle. Look for rock formations that have such a curved area. Fish L or R side which ever side goes to the most open water. If there is a rock off shore, fish the middle, let the bait run the curve, take out and toss back to where you started. You will catch fish.
Well said, couple of good tips. I've been experimenting of late and have found that with pellets alone I do get a lot of fish, but combining that with some berley that includes oil, I get just as many, but it seems to drag a few bigger fish into the area.
Thanks, yep the berley brings them in. You will get plenty of small ones but every now and again a bigger one will come in to check what all the fuss is about...and hopefully you'll catch it.
Probably the best two tips i have heard so far. Thanks!
Thanks, glad you got benefit from it.
