One of my best friends, and oldest friends, broke up with their ex. Their ex then approached me and explained that they had been r*ped by my friend. It was one of the most horrific things to have to hear, as this was someone I'd known for years and was really close to, and couldn't imagine they would do something like that. But guess what? I dropped them immediately. I'm all for letting people grow and change but they committed a crime and they're more than welcome to grow and change far away from me. I cannot excuse people who stand by and let their friends go on like normal after doing something as horrific as this.

I just hate how many big and influencing e-celebrities are being called out for similar things these days, its just scary seeing the People who you look up to be outed as terrible people over and over recently.
I think that there should be outrage for when ppl r 18 and 19 and older men take advantage of that too. Honestly, if there is a man in his mid 20’s or older going after 18 or 19 year old teens, it’s still wrong. I’m 21 now, I feel so much different than I did when I was 17, 18, even 19. And I still feel like guys 25 and older r too old for me. It makes me sick that guys get away w going after younger girls j bc they r over 18.

Not only was Colby their best man, Cody and Kelsey played a huge role in his wedding as well. It’s not even a “well it’s just Cody’s friend so Kelsey is supportive” she is also VERY close to him and I think his wife is even her best friend. This case has been public for a long time now and if his fans know there’s no way him or Kelsey don’t know by now. Based on everything out there, it seems like they purposely do not show them as much as they used to because a lot of people caught on that he’s literally a rapist and started questioning them on why they still associate with him, so they stopped posting him publicly but still do very much associate w him. If you look in a lot of old Cody vlogs him Colby and Kelsey are all buddy buddy.

Cody fan here as well - I love his older videos, his stuff with Noel, Tiny Meat Gang and his other music are bops. Hearing this majorly deflated me tbh, I was still really giddy and happy now that him and Kelsey are first time parents, it made my heart warm. Now it's just super upsetting, if anything I just want him to talk about it as much as he probably doesn't want to. I can't watch any of his stuff atm :( I've been witness to many of the creeps as they've come out of the woodworks but this one just feels so strange

I think it’s really important to acknowledge that even if you dont like Tana (I don’t), that has NOTHING to do with what happened to her. Victims do not need to be perfect, and often aren’t, but they deserve protection and support regardless (Baby Raindeer on Netflix is a really good show that depicts this).

She trusted her audience to not record this and so she didn't plan on it coming out, otherwise she would've say something publicly (i mean outside of the podcast episode she thought would be between her and the audience on that specific episode) I feel so bad for her, not only did she open up about her trauma regarding this but she got backlash and still does.
