I have an oral fixation and I love chew necklaces. They’ve helped me quit cigarettes. The main part about quitting that was so hard was losing the hand to mouth motion. A chew necklace with the patch made it SO easy to quit nicotine
@@LOLimalexxsame, i haven’t had a partner (and i am a minor) though l like bitting stuff (it’s a way i stim) but i only bite myself or things that can’t feel pain (erasers, paper, etc) and if i ever do bite anyone/thing that can/does feel pain i bite them VERY lightly (either with my lips covering my teeth or barely touching my teeth on their skin)

fun fact; i bawled my eyes out when i heard what he did to techno AFTER HIS SURGERY. my mother went through nerve damage surgery in her wrists and i was up with her almost every night while she openly bawled into me, her oldest child’s arms.
not saying that for sympathy, i was more than willing to be there, but to think that a friend would throw something, much less LAUNCH AND APPLE FROM FEETS AWAY, at someone who had very delicate limb surgery is disgusting, not even counting the heinous abuse he did, i genuinely hope he rots in hell and i hope Shelby gets everything they deserve it life.
Not only did he describe lobbing an apple at somebody recovering from a major surgery, but he was still in the tree, so gravity would have added to said force. Even if he genuinely wasn't aiming for Techno's arm (considering everything, I wouldn't be surprised if he lied and was actually aiming for his arm), he still wanted to hurt him.
yeah seriously! I’ve had a couple knee surgeries, nothing to the level of what Techno had, but I remember post-surgery being in so much pain if one of my cats stepped even one paw on my knee, I can’t imagine the pain of someone throwing an apple at me. I was nervous for Techno when I just heard that Techno was holding the bag

i understand getting rid of lovejoy stuff but,,, I'm still there for the rest of the band. like its not their fault that wilbur did what he did. I still love Ash, Joe, and Mark and will support them and not wilbur. They shouldn't have to suffer for what he did.
There’s actually another clip I’ve seen where *AFTER* Techno died (rip techno) he changed the story. He said he accidentally threw it at techno. He literally changed the story after Techno died so it didn’t look bad.

The thing that upsets me the most is it wasn’t just Shelby he bit and bruised. Niki (nihachu) came out about his abuse too. And even mentioned him biting her and bruising her on streams, and she was just barely 18. Rue (timmyinnits old roomate) also came out about him doing stuff to her as well. It’s awful. People are just going to keep hoping on this train to blame any MCYTS for anything to get popular or ruin their reputation even more. My ex also bit me all the time and he would leave bruises on a very large part on my arm and I would literally cry it hurt so bad and he didnt care and would say "I wont do it again" AND WOULD DO IT AGAIN. But, you are spot on with this situation, considering biting can be used for BDSM but when a partner does not consent with the biting. Then that would be considered as assault. I, myself may be into such things (with consent of course) but for William to have the excuse saying she's "consenting" when it's clear she doesn't feel comfortable or safe around him, and yet, even pushing her aggressively on a stream just to say something to chat and she even looked terrified.

I’m pretty sure wilbur said he use to be an incel or something like that. Someone dug up old stuff about him and he was on some hateful forums and stuff. He apologized and said “I’ve changed.” Yeah… I guess he hasn’t changed as much as he wants people to think. It’s also kinda weird he’s trying to say that he’s changed this time but, he dated Shubble like a year ago.

dude. i was a wilbur soot fan. i loved lovejoy’s music, specifically wu&io. it really sucks dropping the fandom and all the merch. i literally went to one of his gigs in december. it’s hard to believe how much my opinions on someone can change. i am 13. i found wilbur when i was TEN. i did not know what boundries were. i knew he was so keen on everyone respecting his and other people. but now to find out that he didnt respect anyone’s? sucks man. im actually just now hearing about the thing with techno. what the hell, who throws apples at their friend’s cancerous arm??

He influenced so many people and it’s so painful knowing that he had such a positive impact on us. Of all things, I never would’ve expected this from him. But you know what, I’m glad that his ex-community has been so damn respectful about this whole thing. I know there were the freaks who were sending death threats to him but I’m assuming those were outliers because all the old Wilbur fans I know have been so supportive of Shelby. Even the ones who had trouble with no longer interacting with him still spread the message of supporting victims. I’m just shocked that such a shitty person could gather such an amazing community. And Shelby and Alice and everyone else are so incredibly brave for speaking out. I know this all sucks but I truly believe that there are a ton of positives to take from this. I mean, we’ve learned not to trust online personas, how to recognise abuse, how to use consent and of course the mods being great with sharing resources on abuse. This is honestly being handled very well by the community. Massive pat on the back to all of us 🔥

I did not know about what Wilbur did to Techno and it’s frankly disgusting. Throwing something at someone, let alone PELTING IT, who is recovering from surgery so recklessly. In the clip he said he was “aiming for his stomach”. Even that is horrible, Techno was such an amazing person who was taken from this world too soon and the fact that someone who he saw as a friend would do that to him after surgery for cancer treatment is utterly disgusting.
Abuse is abuse and it is never okay, if someone says stop, you stop. Multiple people were hurt by Will and it is upsetting to know that someone I used to look up to and watch was such a horrible person, friend, and partner.
His “apology” was not an apology. It was him trying to talk his way out of a bad situation he put himself in. Not even mentioning Shelby by name. Therapy can help him be better but only if he’s willing to be better. But regardless of what he does in the future to better himself or not, he made irreparable damage to the people around him and those who looked up to him.

Shelby's family lives on the other side of the U.S. And her mother is the only one who had visit her in the past several years.
The whole point of a safeword is to have a clear, agreed upon word for "stop, I'm not enjoying or comfortable with this anymore, you're hurting me." Stopping after the safeword is a REQUIREMENT, not a recommendation. Like, did Wilbur get BDSM lessons from 50 Shades of Grey? Not that the biting in this case was explicitly BDSM, but if you're using a safeword, the same rules apply.
Basically, yeah, just because it started out consensual doesn't mean it continued to be consensual throughout. Using a safeword is supposed to make it clear WHEN your partner is withdrawing consent. You don't even need a safeword if you and your partner understand that "stop, you're hurting me" means you fucking stop. Like "stop" is the default safeword unless you and your partner discuss otherwise. But whether through an established safeword or the simple "stop," that is a sign to fucking STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING! Continuing after that is doing so WITHOUT CONSENT.
Edit: I almost forgot about what he did to Technoblade! Bro, I get playful banter and all that, and Techno said, "You're bad at throwing," but what friend thinks "you know what a good response would be? pelting my disable and dying friend with this solid object!" Yeah I felt the same worry as I do the same thing to people I really care about. It’s a thing of affection for me, like if they ever said I was genuinely hurting them I would stop and feel so bad.

i genuinely liked lovejoy a lot, i never followed the dreamsmp or anything, just liked their music. i obviously don’t listen to them anymore but some of my friends do and say “seperate the art from the artist” like js listen to someone else like there’s other similar and other good bands, like good kid and many others

I looked up to him when I was a young impressionable kid when he was making videos before he was that popular. I’m so disappointed that he turned out like this. It’s so sad seeing people support him even after everything happened. As a person who’s been abused in the form of biting, I can’t believe I ever looked up to him.

Also, he unmodded all his mods and unmodded the fossa bot that gave links for hotlines or something for domestic abuse, and he modded his alt account, which was named after a Simpson's character who had a partner called, SHELBYville. I've seen a bit of it on my timeline but he just keeps digging himself a hole. At some point he's gonna have no one supporting him. And I'll be waiting for that day. I truly hope Shelby gets the recognition she deserves
TLDR: Wilber Soot like biting people with or without consent and made a terrible apology online that he was called out for. He also threw apples at techno blade and hit him in his shoulder where his surgery was.

Being mentally ill is not an excuse for abuse or things alike. Doxxing and threatening someone can also not be excused even if that person is not a good person. Hold yourself accountable and mind your own business, he does not need to apologise or explain himself to us, he needs to do that to his actual victims. I hope he realises what he did wrong and is getting the help he needs.

while i dont agree that LoveJoy had been bd persay or lacked story(i was able to find a story in p much all of the song in the 1st 2 EPs/albums) i do agree that the name is p post apocalyptic. also i had completely forgot bout the whole "i threw an apple at techno and it hit his arm where he had surgery" story and even back then was like "y hit him? y not throw it near him if ur gonna throw an apple???" and the laughter weirded me out but at the time i justified it by thinkin "oh sometimes ppl nervous laugh at the wrong time, ik ive nearly done that before" but thinkin back on it it grosses me out that he did that
as being a victim of actions that wilbur had made towards Shelby, knowing that I used to watch Wilbur and admire him, this all made my heart sink, i pray and hope Shelby is recovering and doing well.

After consent is given it does not beling to the person receiving that consent. The consent always will belong to the person giving it, it can be removed at anytime and being given it once does not give you the right to take it. Taking that consent is like taking stealing someone’s personal belongings. EVIL and illegal.
The Dream SMP has a bad history that just keeps getting worse, but Technoblade was a good man and I’m glad you mentioned that and were respectful. I saw a few people say that he was basically the glue holding everything and everyone together and I agree. I hope that absolute legend of a man is resting well. I saw some clips once with him playing Minecraft with his little sister and I knew at that moment that he was an amazing and kind soul. I remember when my older sibling taught me how to play Minecraft and I feel so bad for his family because they lost an absolute angel.

Apology was so shit that divided communities became united, it revived UA-camrs on hiatuses, it even brought people not in the dsmp/Minecraft fandom into it
I used to be a massive dsmp fan and watched all of wilburs streams and videos and i was horrified when i found out about this situation. I still watch multiple people from the damp like tommyinnit and tubbo and i felt so bad for both of them as they were such good friends with wilbur

It was said years ago that alot of the dsmp boys were "odd", let the fame get to them and general weren't nice to be around.

And in my head I was like "Yeah they just gained 3+ million in a couple weeks they're human let them be" until I realised the extent of how poorly some "minor characters" were treated
I remember the day that Wilbur had blame some of his drunk behaviour on Minx at a party, and the only 3 people who were defending her was herself, and 2 other streamers who witnessed wilbur do those things.
The rest had assumed it was her because "she's a drunk"
And THAT was the start of her spiral as an online presence.
I don't feel bad for not realising because no one really did. I understand that I DID have happy memories with Wilbur's content, but doing good things for someone does make you a good person.
The stupidest thing is that Shelby originally left her "accusations" anonymous. In the original video (which has been since taken down for safety reasons I believe), she didn't mention Wilbur ONCE.
Because victims don’t want to risk putting themselves in danger. Saying his name outright could have made her feel too exposed, or could get will to harass her. Victims are scared, Shelby is and was scared. That’s why she just hinted at things, so her intentions could be seen, but she would be in less danger.
The way he talks about hurting people for fun is the same way I talk about being a wolf girl in elementary school and that scares me

But instead of immediately stopping biting when she used the Safeword he would instead bite down harder before stopping and grinned about it like he was proud of himself for doing it (she talked about this in her original stream/VOD where all this stuff originally came out)

He was called Dream before the server, but if you meant naming the server after yourself, he didn't name it. Tommy called it Dreamsmp because he knew it would make for a more clickable stream and video title, and everyone including Dream just kinda rolled with it
The thing is he didn’t even share HIS perspective- he just said “yes I did bite ‘THIS PERSON’ but she said it was okay! Guys I’m a good boy and I’ve gone to therapy” that’s not a perspective, that’s a lousy excuse.
